      can you explain more please? im trying to understand who is Obatala

    • @Mrcrip457
      @Mrcrip457 20 днів тому

      @peachhoney7502 you need to be patient with your self, pay attention to detail the universe is always speaking to us and showing us signs, it is like taking a journey traveling on a road you have never taken before to a place you have never been to, exploring and seeing new land scapes you have never seen while learning new things, be open minded like a child be willing to unlearn your instilled beliefs and programming while re-educating yourself , you need to understand that we are not just flesh and bones but we are spiritual beings too and there are ways to connect with our spiritual higher selves once you find that connection with your spiritual self you'll know because you will feel it, remember no one really knows what's what because we are all here trying to find our true purpose of being so listen to the inner voices within you and trust your intuition, that is where it all begins, there really isn't a guide book or set of rules everyone's journey is different and the answers you looking for are not external but within yourself, once you understand that everything will start to unfold and make sense, pray and ask for guidance call on the creator, the universe and your ancestors to guide you, never allow negativity in your life it will only derail you always be drawn towards positive energies.
      Love and light

    Technically Orishas, aren’t gods. And Obatala is gender fluid, they have both a female & male form (as well as represented in an third form, an old-man form). Olokun is another Orisha that is gender fluid. In some versions of the Yoruba creation story, Yemoja is one of the 16 Orishas sent to help create-creation/earth. She is “the mother of humanity” & “the metaphysical mother of all the Orishas”, she was tasked by Olodumare to assist Obatala. She gave them her holy water, in which without water-there can be no clay/mud. Obatala then did they’re sculpting task. Thus Yemoja’s title of “mother of [all] humanity”.
    Edit: and both Yemoja & Obatala are associated with pregnancy/womb working. Sometimes Ogun is associated with the bones, & sometimes he’s present in helping Yemoja & Obatala, in other versions he isn’t there. Though Yemoja has more to do with motherhood/pregnancy, than Obatala (women do more than men, when it comes to human-creation). Also “Oba” doesn’t technically mean the English word “king”, male-exclusivity. Ooni, Aalafin, & Oba are “democratic”-monarchs, some male & some female. Though the tile of Yemoo I’m ignorant of.

    If there is entities asking for animal sacrifice this is not a true god and creator of all things. God is unconditional love. If this is the humans idea and not the god idea, great. A god is not going to tell you to do something it will not do.
