I have been always a PS4 Player and lover of racing games. (Played games like Project Cars, NFS, The crew..)
Lately, I did something too crazy. I took all my money and bought an xbox one + forza horizon 3. One of the best choices of my life. Forza Horizon 3 is the best racing game I have played by far, for unlimited reasons. If you are doubtfull as I was, make some research and you will finish buying anything you need in order to play this incredible game.

My biggest complaint regarding the radio stations isn't that they must be unlocked, it's that their playlist isn't randomized like the last 2 Horizon entries - it's increasingly noticeable and annoying during longer play sessions, like a mix CD on ordered repeat, as opposed to a radio station shuffling it's tracks...
There are settings to shuffle music but I'm 10 months late so yeah lol

Why are you trying to compare Forza horizon with NFS and GTA5? This is a legal racing event so there's not going to be any cop chases and nitrous. And this is a car game, if you want an immersive world with a bunch of random shit going on like in gta5 then go play gta5. It's like comparing Fifa with call of duty, that's not how it works.

ancient hardware works perfectly on medium settings 1080p. had to install some hard to find drivers but it works now. and my mic seems to work too.
had no fps issues at all it was more the fact that it stutters at 80-100 fps which i seem to have figured out has something to do with 144hz since the same settings at 60hz does not stutter so i have eye cancer in my future i guess

I've been looking for a racing game for me to spend way too much time going through all the cars and customizing them. That looks like a pretty good game to do it, even if I am a little late to the party. Great review dude

There's one thing that always annoys me in these Forza games. The steering wheel animations. Why couldn't they give us fully animated steering motion still, with all the attention to details that is in this game. Is it that hard to do! It's in games with way less budget; e.g. Grid

there are car meets in the game where you can get other peoples tunes or paintjobs or go racing or somethin, there are many music stations in the game and you can challenge other drivers on head to head. (sorry for bad english)

As someone looking to buy an Xbox one this looks amazing, I absolutely love playing NFS payback on my PS4 but with this being an exclusive I can imagine how much they'll be pushing the hardware, I know paybacks multi platform but its an insanely good game, can't wait to try this one out in the autumn when I build my new setup

Let's be real here. It was a bad game. It really was, but, it kind of had a so-bad-its-actually-good vibe to it. The graphics were lacking, the sounds were pretty terrible, the driving physics were miserable, and the "story"? Don't get me started on that. But even with all that and the monumental amount of bugs it had, there was just something about it that made me love it. I will at least give it credit for having ok music, a genuinely huge world to explore and character customization in a driving game that's only just been rivalled by GTAV but, it still wasn't a good game.

I cant realy see the "lack" of a Nitro button... this is in base a arcade/race-sim combo and NOT some s**t NFS game where you can put a wight on "up-arrow" and leave the room to win a race! played Forza sence Forza 2 and what they did with Forza Horizon 3 is Extreme! Best game in the series so far and they made a lot of games by now. They realy took Forza 5-6 and released it in the wild Australia! :D awsome game. but there is for now some "graffic" glitches and some other small things like slow loading scroll menus and stuff but i dont blame them! (Note: still not game-breaking) first time they release for PC and an awsome work they did! and what you know from their other work you know they will fix everything in time ;) firt game EVER i fealt that a game is worth $100 !! just a word out there for ppl that played old Forza or Forza Horizon 2 and still thinking about buying..... GO FOR IT!! its the best! :) played only single player races so far allmost every day sence the 23'th and im 15% done with the game :P realy alot to do in this one!! :D

Ari's point is that the geographical locations of the landmarks make no sense. The Twelve Apostles arent north of Byron Bay in real life, they're an entire state south of it. Not to say its a bad game or anything I already have 100+ hours on it but they could've tried a little harder with Landmark placement

The reason that Porsche is always a paid DLC is because EA own royalty for Porsche in video games. So Forza have to pay a hefty price for the inclusion of that manufacturer in the game.

You should at least pick up a controller, keyboards are pretty shit for racing games, if you have a PS4 or Xbox One controller you can just plug it into your PC and it should work (may have to download drivers not sure).

I picked this up on Saturday (four days ago) along with a new XBox One (my first) and it's all I'm playing. I haven't enjoyed a racing game this much since Midnight Club LA, and I love the fact that I was able to supercharge a BMW Isetta and an original Fiat 500. Supercars are great, but there are - I figure - a lot of folks like me who also like the classic and the quirky machines as well.
Oh, I looove me some weird shit, and as the old saying goes 'It's more fun to drive a slow car fast...'...

As a road geek, i feel this game is missing traffic signals. Not for actually stopping at them, but they just make the world feel more real. But then again, some people might find them stressing in a racing game maybe. Otherwise, looks like a great game.

I would have loved to try it on PC but I tried to download Forza 6 Apex from that dreaded store before and I had so many problems that I just gave up on it. No way am I gonna risk buying a game there unless I'm sure it works.
That's probably wise for now until it gets an official patch. It's pretty broken for me. It kept crashing, there's a lot of flickering and stuttering. I finally got it to work but I don't even know how. Tried rolling back drivers, unplugging the controller, changing settings. I hate having to fiddle with games that much because they shouldn't have these many problems running on good hardware.
Keep in mind, Forza 6 Apex was Forza's first step into PC, horizon 3 should go a Lot smoother
I had 0 issues with Forza Apex, not sure why a lot are having issues.
***** That's kinda where I've been at lately. A little stuttering still and graphical glitches. Really annoying because my computer works fine in most scenarios. Still a really fun game.
***** Do you get the graphical glitches too? I get a lot of flickering and pop-in. I'm a stickler for those kinds of things so it's hard to ignore for me. Have you driven down the coast and seen the flickering of the road structure?
The Crew 2 wth its mini-USA map is amazing and the 3 different vehicle types are great but Forza Horizon still holds the crown, graphicwise and feelingwise.
I'm definitely getting this game, the original Forza Horizon game was the best racing game I've ever played. The Lamborghini Aventador LP700- 4 in that game was incredible!

Forza and PGR ain't got nothing on Mario Kart 64 though ;) PGR2 was such a great game! I remember completing it on platinum - maybe one of the hardest challenges ever.

Still had the best campaign, and they have yet to top that first Mustang vs Mustang showcase, especially if you happened to be listening to the Bass Arena station - listening to Mord Fustang, while racing a Ford Mustang Boss 429 against a P-51 Mustang was pretty much a perfect gaming moment...
Are you referring to FH2? I prefer the Euro landscape more because it had more road/asphalt courses. A little too much dirt in FH3 but it's expected in an AUS landscape
