The entire superstructure of the DDG-1000 Zumwalt destroyer is pretty much carbon-fiber over balsa. (Balsa is nice because it doesn't burn very well, just chars).
I made a couple of small speaker cabs (5 inch cube, roughly) out fiberglass using a balsa wood “armature”. I glued surfacing veil onto the balsa frame using cyanoacrylate cement, then painted the veil with epoxy to stiffen it. A few more layers of fiberglass, and I had my cabinets.
have you ever tried bondo the fiberglass car patch stuff thin layered. epoxy resins are great though many uses I like enamel coating too or Ca glue coating works great and fast with harden spray lol I coat with anything though in testing silicone/rubberized on a hard coat takes impact well and stops vibes makes nice sheets too. you don't need glass fiber cloth really use nylon it can be found cheaper in many colors and is very strong. great stuff not many ppl think anymore in rc just buy whats hyping
Didn't expect that energizing music at the end at all; loved it, especially after having followed Tony Robbins for a week;) Dancing in my chair.

Genious! Awesome dude! I had never considered that. Next level of awesomeness is both sides, and using Carbon fiber cloth!
That probably would be an overkill. More important is to use correct epoxy resin designed for laminating. Regular glue is too brittle

Actually almost any type of cloth would help. Like paper :) I tried poliurethane wood glue, but that was too soft. So epoxy for me
"Baking paper" = parchement?
No idea under which name it's sold in your country. It's a greased paper used for baking :)
Sounds like (baking) parchment.
What is the song in this video?
Failed...... u need to cover even the edges for stiffness.... for all that u could have just glue the carbon rods on and have the same stiffness
