Love this style of video. Calmly explaining the new stuff to us with some funny innuendos spliced in. Keep it up :)
Yes, quick and concise. I can't stand those channels that extend their videos with nonsense just to reach the 10-min mark.
@@zackj997 Yeah, but they need to make money, ya know?
Yeah but I can't understand this guy for shit lol.
@@YavNe They make more money from producing top quality content that people want to stick around and watch for years. None of the top tech channels like Linus or MKBHD ever makes 10-min videos unless if was actually filled with quality content.
If you think the Acoustic Surface Audio only improves the aural experience and not the oral experience, you clearly don't love these TV's as much as I do.
Really? you mean I've been using the Acoustic Surface wrong all this time?
I look forward to an improved oral experience from the cutie OLED

@@tomwebb7091 lmfao 😂😂😂
I want the Cutie OLED.
It's so small it's a "cutie" :( 65" - that's a big monitor.
Haha
A95k 77 in or 83 in would be the TV king this year if it ever comes out. I have the 77 inch a80j and it's the best TV I ever purchased but the a95k definitely has my attention
Can’t wait to grab an A95K, will be awesome for gaming and movies.
THIS^^^^^
I hope we get it in Australia because generally we don't get their flagship top of line range. We didn't get panasonic oleds either or the Phillips 9 series oleds :(
Let's start at the top and work our way down *ting*
Never gets old
Looking forward to your full review of the A95k!
Would love to see you comparing it to the A90j as well as the whole k-series over last year's j-series.
Definitely interested in any QD-OLED
This man is a legend for TV knowledge. I would have never bought my Sony a80j 77 inch without his approval
Is the A80j still recommended in 2023?
Thank you for this fantastic video Vincent. Sony's stand innovation is top notch, A95K's stand is really cool looking on a table top and the A90K's stand looks good love the options they give us with displaying these TVs. I can't wait to check out the A95K this year.
Yeah! Sonys stand is so "top notch" you can't even put a soundbar in front of it. Yeah! Thats so "awesome." 🤦♂️
@@raymondluke92 use a receiver then it’s way better than a sound bar problem solved…
@P-LOWN1997 . REALLY?? Problem "Solved." Not everyone lives in a big house or an average size house, with a decent sized living room. I live in a flat! I'm guessing most people do. So, throwing a receiver & Speakers & all those annoying cable's, ain't gonna solve any problem. Thats why most people buy Soundbars, Sub & rears. Or just a simple Soundbar & sub. So, the problem ain't solved. 🤦♂️
PS: Sony should have designed that stand so you can raise it.
@@raymondluke92 having a 2 channel stereo system doesn’t take that much place and don’t need a big size house for that.If you really need a soundbar you can mount it. Plus it sounds way better than a soundbar
@@P-LOWN1997 I was planning to change my 2017 Bose Lifestyle 650 hometeather (5.1) for the Sony HT A7000 (7.1) soundbar with rear speakers and subwoofer, will that be an upgrade or downgrade?

"Aural" not "Oral" fucking legend
SONY's line up is looking fantastic this year 😃
And most important, they are rhe best in every category-LED,OLED,QD OLED, Micro...
Yup I think I’m gonna try to sell my LG CX and get the a90 or x90
@@sharebear421 why the CX is an amazing tv. Are those two actually better?
@@brandonenke2680 the CX suffers from terrible motion stutter on almost all content due to it being an oled tv and having instant pixel response time. 60fps gaming looking and runs amazing but 30fps games like switch and ps4 have stutter issues, as well as movies and tv shows because of the lower frame rate
@@sharebear421 So these other two tvs will fix that issue? I've read that the two new TV's won't even have VRR at launch. That right there already makes them worse for gaming than the CX till they get there VRR patch. Plus they seem like they are going to be quite expensive
As always Vincent is on top ,Bing, of things. Thanks Vincent. I sure hope Sony is coming out with an 83 inch tv and not counting on last year flagship to go an extra year. Something Sony has a bad habit of doing.
But isn't the 2022 83 A90J being upgraded? Nobody seems to be talking about this
At the moment it looks like the 83A90J will get carried over so it should I fact still be better than an A80K because of the included heatsink.
@@PadawanLearner1970 I don't think so since it's A90J, same TV model. Wait, isn't A90J 83" model released in 2021?
You're acting like the A90J is suddenly a bad tv just because the year changed. The A90J was the shootout winner last year as the best tv, and will probably be the second best tv this year, only surpassed by the A95K.
The smaller sizes A90K models will have virtually the same performance as the A90J, just with the better remote.
Is there something that you feel the A90J lacks that you think would have been upgraded if they had put out an 83" A90K?
@@robeverett9605 Acting like.....not at all. Will be nice if it had 4 hdmi 2.1 , better hardline network connection 10/100 isn't enough for the Bravia Core ive read, no firmware update needed for VVR and ALLM . Also, better peak brightness like the Panasonic HZ2000.
No tvs perfect, but improvement for the next year model is within reach . So, no excuse by Sony not to have a newer model and not try to clean out their last year outstanding A90j .
Thank you! You finally slowed down to the point that I can follow you. Please continue. Very relaxing and FAR more understandable, particularly on model numbers and acronyms. Great videos! Thanks..
Wow. Cutie OLEDs. I came for the information but you just ...became the show, Vincent. I did not expect that. Kudos.
How does the a80k compare to the a80j? And what is the difference between the models:80/3/4k?
I come here for the innuendos.

The hand motion my man made when clarifying which "aural" he was referrring to... pause.. and then you're whipping out your flAshlight? Ohhhh Vinny, this was a spicy one.
The a80k looks like a great option this year. From what I'm hearing better performance at 10percent and below near blacks so yeah that's pretty cool for people. Good price also for sure. The a95k is just an animal it seems but we shall see in person.
If have EX Panel + Glossy finish center channel speaker audio input

Thank you Vincent. As someone that always wants to be informed regarding emerging technologies, you are my reference!
You've cleared up a major misunderstanding. I never understood why so many people thought sound was sexy and asked for "Aural." Thanks Teoh!
My worry is full screen static logo dim. Its a deal breaker for me and many others who like sports and video games. Nobody has asked Sony if you can turn it off like with LG.
Your deadpan jokes kill me. I like your style. Keep up the good work. I've definitely been wondering about matte screens on the A80 series as well. I prefer the glossy.
Disappointed that the energy usage on the 65" A95K is higher (258) compared to both 65" A90J (228) and A80J (209). I was hoping it would be more energy efficient. Did you notice if the A95K got as hot or hotter than the A90J? That's one reason I decided to pass on the A90J. Thanks.
subscribed after laughing at several jokes within your review:D your reviews are not only informational but also funny. great content
You never see any of these tv review guys go back to older oleds and look at the asbl in game mode. LG wouldn't like that I guess.
It changed big time on the CX with firmware 4.30.40, much more aggressive.
They have made it a little less aggressive since 4.35.10 but still far from where it was before 4.30.40.
Can you not disable it with the service remote? Heard lots of positive results (with the C1)
My LG BX (which is even dimmer than the CX) was unusable for gaming during daylight hours until I ordered a service remote and disabled the logo dimming.
Waiting for A90k 42 . Wanted to buy lg c2 but something tells me Sony will be batter option
I’m looking at the X95K or X90K I hope you do videos on those :) hopefully at least one of these TVs has no stutter issues like my LG CX
I am surprised Samsung let Sony come out with this before them. Same with Dell on the 34" Ultrawide. My guess is they marketed QLED so hard that they will stick with it until microled can fit into a 55" display or wait another year or two for it to become relatively affordable.
The more likely reason is that Samsung Display decided to actually sell them to other OEMs to get higher profit margins :P
Samsung Display versus Samsung Electronics…….. Are you even paying attention
I asked the Sony and Samsung sales representative at my local Best Buy about this and apparently it’s because Samsung Display (SD), which is a separate company from Samsung electronics (SE), originally planned to manufacture QD-OLED panels for Sony and SE. Sony paid/made a deal with SD, while the deal with SE fell on the floor as they assumed SD would sell the panels at price $X (a discounted price because they are both Samsung brand) however SD wanted to sell at price $Y (they don’t care about Samsung brand as they are by definition two separate companies so they want higher profits for themselves). This caused SE to call off the deal and not order an QD-OLED panels, so they won’t make a tv while Sony still has their deal.
This is only the information I know, so if anyone knows more feel free to correct me.
Why would Samsung Display care about selling to Sony?
@@vlcheish not everyone knows Samsung display is a seperate entity
Vincent is the best in TV info and knowledge.
Hello Vincent! Please help me choose between two TV models: A80J and A75K. Which one is better? Thank you!
Do you think the A90J or A95K will experience burn in sooner? How is the A95K better than the A90J besides the brighter/more colorful picture?
Definitely putting my eyes on a cutie OLED this year =)
The only question I want to know is, how good will it be for gaming on the PS5? Will there be local dimming issues with VRR enabled?
is the frame brushed metal again as i wen't from my a9g brushed metal frame to my a90j glossy plastic iwas so disappointed
Looking foward a lot to the 42 inch oled model with acoustic audio. I know LG offers more options but that Sony quality and advantages with a PS5 makes it really hard for me to choose.. = '(
What advantages with a PS5?
Sony 💪
There are no advantages - there’s no VRR implementation on either the tv’s or the PS5. It’s all ‘marketing’, and very poor marketing at that.
@@sirgriffinman 2022 Sony Tvs automatically calibrates the displayed image when connected to a PS5.
@@chriskelly1873 Picture quality on Sony is better, A80J as well which is close to the price point of a c1 depending where you are
Can’t wait to see how these TV’s stack against the LG C2.
More than brightness and slightly sharpener picture it won't deliver more than the C1, what is more than enough.
Clear winner is Sony, even with XR 2021 TV. 😀
@@marinac7676 lmfao no. The C1 wins for 2021 when price and features are considered. Also looks like Sony have not learned their lesson. Still only 2 2.1 ports? It’s 2022, JFC.
If the TVs do launch with VRR like Sony is claiming, it’ll definitely be a lot closer with gaming
@@killerinst1ncz308 The one thing people care about most from the A95K is the picture quality.
That's why many people are talking about QD-OLED.
Sony is the King. With Bravia Core,Bravia cam,the best sound, and VRR inside, they are winner in every category-LED, OLED,QD OLED, Micro LED

Vincent, please address logo dimming solution on oled TVs this time, it is very important for games and sports watching with results always on.
Please check if sony still dims the whole piture or they changed to logo dimming only like LG.

Thanks for the Video Vincent! Most important question: Buying this year one of the last A90J or the maybe even cheaper A80/A75K?
King of TV MASTER A90J.
I want the x95k 65” but at the same time the a80k 65” makes my decision hard to choice, cause I’m don’t wanna be worried about burn panel 🥺🥺
The TVs are cool but your one liners were on ‘point’ today.
any way to compare the a90J to the upcoming a80k?
hi, I loved the video, the best channel by far! sorry i be off topic but could you help me, I have a samsung Q80A and I think its brightness is very strong and that's why I would like to leave the brightness and contrast in a calibration similar to the oled's , do you know how to do it? I know all the screen differences, but what I want is to get through the calibration as close as possible to the oled brigtness!
I really enjoy your videos and I'm only pointing this out because I see that you're quite particular about A/V quality, but I noticed that your microphone's noise floor is quite high, and audible throughout the video. Am I crazy, or is that actually the case? I suspect you'd be able to easily remove this noise floor and improve the quality of the audio in your videos with either some adjustments to your settings (possibly your microphone's preamp settings), or maybe by replacing some equipment that is causing it.
Wife was a bit confused why she had to go down to buy the tv
Did you also get a chance to see the X95K line? Or was this just an OLED only show?
Digital Trends has a quick review of both
@HDTVTest: Should I buy the Sony A80j 65 "at 1550 € or wait and buy the new Sony A80K or equivalent of the new range?
I wonder if the leap between the a90j vs the a9k is going to be worth the jump in price? I just recently purchases an open box a90j 83" for $4900 open box from best buy. Hasn't been used yet. I wonder if I should cancel and hold off for thr new panel tech
As Always, can't wait for the review. Do you know if the A95K still can be set as a center speaker channel please ?

I just love his 'deadpan' humor.
It's likely as predictable as night

I mean with Sony's build quality and world class processing they'd really have to go some for it to go wrong.

It's embarrassing.

Each to their own. But I wouldn't personally call two HDMI 2.1's embarrassing. I'd call zero HDMI 2.1's embarrassing in this day and age - regardless of the cost of the display.
One HDMI 2.1 is likely embarrassing but only just a pass. All dependent. If I for example owned the greatest pro monitor (which obviously I don't) in the world - I wouldn't give a flying if it only had one HDMI 2.1 port for example.
