The great thing about Ferry is he seems to have literally no ego despite being responsible for probably more undeniably classic trance tunes than any other single producer. Love seeing them back to back. I’d love to see Tiësto up there too, but somewhere along the journey, he just got lost. ☹
Ferry is my all time favorite for the reasons you mentioned above, I was in the VIP area at the Blueprint release show in LA, I saw him walk by into a room then when he came out I leaned over and put my fist out for a fist bump and he grabbed my fist and smiled at me. It kind of struck me because of all the people there to see the show, apparently I was the only one that recognized him. The smile he gave was kind of like “I know why you’re here, I’m here for that too” not ego, just a love of the music. but also he always seems dedicated to the trance sound. There was a documentary on him around the time of blueprint and he was just so down to earth and seemed to really love the music.
So happy they uploaded this stunning little set !! My eyes were tearing up so much ! There'll be more tears right now I'm sure + whenever I watch it again haha.. Ferry + Armin are like my childhood heroes from like 1998 when I was 9/10 (34 now lol) .. I owe them so much, this set will just brighten my days so much !
Armin saved my life when i discovered his music 2 years ago, when i saw this on the livestream i showed it to my friend and we cried together... I love this I will see him live at Untold festival this year
