I never knew that I could watch something on a computer screen and feel like I was actually a part of what I was watching. To say that Ferry Corsten is a genius is a fucking understatement. My love for Trance music grew even more after watching this, which I didn't think was possible.
Music is the only thing that can abuse me; make me terribly sad, turn around and give me joy, and I'll love it and keep coming back for more. I'm 56 years in but music can and should be enjoyed at any age. Some people forget this and make themselves old before their time. No one around me understands this and my heart's desires to chase this music. I'm glad that there are those in this comment section who understands.

I’ve listened to this set literally over 250 times and it never gets old. I started listening to trance in 1997 but didn’t really get into it until Gouryella blessed my ears in 1999. I’ve had the privilege and honor of seeing Ferry so many times including a few times where he actually dropped some Gouryella masterpieces (mind you this was from 2004-2011 when Gouryella as we knew it was “dead” for some time, before the rebirth in 2015). I need to store my original signed Gouryella CD singles (Gouryella, Walhalla) in plexiglass - they will literally be remembered as significant historical artifacts in years to come. I fucking love trance and Ferry/Gouryella is a HUGE reason why!

I've only seen Ferry twice - Cream Amnesia in 2009 when he played most of "Twice in a Blue Moon" - phenomenal set and phenomenal night (the Mitsubishis were insane) but we didn't get any Gouryella; and once at Space in about 2015 when he looked like he didn't want to be there. Played an amazing trance version of the theme from "Oblivion" but not a lot else that seemed much good. This was just before he brought Gouryella back to life and all the magic that followed. Love him.
To have been in the crowd to witness this set is something I will never, ever forget. Gouryella - Gouryella is the track that got me hooked on trance over 20yrs ago. To hear it played in this venue, at this event and by Ferry himself as Gouryella is as good as it gets. Gives me goosebumps watching it back now 😍😍😍😍😍

Gouryella was a project between Tiesto and Ferry and they were together until around 2000-2001 i think when they made Tenshi and then they split and Ferry took the project over alone.
Anahera was definitely the classic Trance track of the last decade, and the only track you could possibly close that set with. Thanks for everything, Ferry. For 2 plus decades of the most beautiful music in the world. You're still the greatest Trance DJ!
Venera will always hold a special place in my heart. That song can make me cry tears of joy and sadness without a single word being said. I remember showing it to a friend and I told her to imagine her life while listening to it. Not to think of specific parts, just let the scenes come on their own and it had the same effect on her
