Thanks Troy!!! I have been wanting to try out micro drift. So glad you are doing this. I have struggled to find good informative content. I am grateful for you and your channel. Please keep this playlist going I want to learn more!
I've been dipping my toes in to the microdrift world as well. I was looking at the kits from Atomic and Drift Arts and watching people's videos. The small tiny itsy bitsy little teeeeeeny bits make my fat fingers cry but I really want to try this stuff. This 3d printed one seems like it might be a good way to slide into a smaller scale drift world for a bit. :D
The little stuff available now is really pretty awesome. Not to mention tracks can be anywhere now. Just got back into cars, and I'm staying small now. Much more affordable to be competitive also. Win-win for me.
@@RoadsideRC I did a scratch-built 1/43 and recently received a WLtoys 284131 which I am in the process of setting op for mini dirt/carpet oval. Cool stuff.
Been getting into smaller rc's myself lately! Got several cars with alternate sets of drifting wheels, but, that CXD mini D12 that partnered with WPL for that particular rig, and I think it has a lot of potential for mods for drifting already! Also picked up that Silver Eagle Smasher v2 from Fair Rc and gotta say, stock it was great, but slap some injora moster truck tires on there and get the bigger battery, it already rocks! Eager to see what you do with this, there are many 1/24 and 1/28 rc options popping up out there lately, I'm hoping the hobby keeps blowing up!! Keep up the awesome work Troy!!
man what a sweet kit! at a great price too, i have the mini z 4wd drift car and after having it for a while and figuring out how to put gyros on things i really wish i would have gotten a 2wd
I have a cheap wltoys 1/28 with a 3d printed 2wd drift chassis and a micro brushless combo and it amazingly drifts really really well. Nice micro fun..i even play it together wth the 1/10 cars sometimes and its funny
Man I have a big question, between xr10 juststock that one don t have turbo or boost The only thing it has that îs usefull îs The bec 7.4 and The quicrun The one of 120 Amp and 6 v bec but has The timming up to 26 ,what to pick ?,i Think that xr10 juststock îs a bit useless because dont have turbo or boost ..
I just bought my first Kyosho Mini-Z AWD drift car. Okey, my 1/10 drifter is RWD but because I’m new in this little scale I bought AWD. Learnng should be easier. I really don’t know but ai’ll start with that.
Love to see you getting into the micro scene brother! Let me know when your ready for your first PRO setup. Its on us :)

I'm working on getting the electronics mounted appropriately, and getting the body all painted. Should be ready for some more testing soon!

Thanks! I am very curious to see if the smaller-scale vehicles continue to be popular.

If you already have experience with this scale, jumping to a kit like this would make a lot of sense for going RWD.
@@RoadsideRC that’s what I’m also thinking
I've had an LTD but haven't had a chance to finish building it yet, pretty solid kit as far as building tho.
Seems good to me so far! Excited to see how it does once fully set up.

Do you have anything showing the details of the build? I would be interested to see it!

If you can afford it - go with the ESC that gets you turbo and boost.
WL Toys has a 2s battery they sell with their mini drift series. I would look into seeing what that brand or size is.👌
Great point! Thanks!
For gyro I got a SRT SD - G14 it can do 7.4 and and Will be more sensitive at that V I belive
Thanks for the tip!
Vary cool
Thanks!
Mini crawlers small enough for me, but definitely cool

Nice!
I do wonder how many Mini-Z parts are compatible with this design...
send me chassis link
Link was in the video description, here: facebook.com/groups/733157294535271
doesn't look like a good drifter
Will do! Thank you!
It needs fully setup - so far just getting started.
