I have the dji assistant 2 (consumer drones series) and when I do what it says, it still will not recognize the re goggles? Could it be because I purchased them used and maybe the seller didn't unbind them? It keeps saying "cannot load firmware list" (undefined-undefined) please retry"

You didn’t cover the part of connecting the device to the computer. I download and install but when I connect my FPV controller, nothing happens. I’m on Ventura on an M1 Mac but I’ve also tried it on an Intel based Mac running Monterey. I can never get the Mac to see the controller.
Tad tricky.. thanks for sharing - will do one down the line connecting the controller.. So it was left out. Sometimes it doesn't connect even when it's connected to the computer.. I tried updating the other day and had to unplug the cable into the computer many times until DJI assist finally saw it..
@@How-to-by-Lou I finally bought a cheap Windows Laptop $200. I’m pretty sure something about the Mac low level driver does not “see” some of the controllers. I got the Smart Controller that came with the Mavic 3 Cine to connect on the Mac but the FPV Controller 2 and the Motion Controller would not connect. The Mac did nothing at all when plugging and unplugging them as if the lowest level USB code wasn’t recognizing it. Anyway… I’m curious what you find.
Maybe USB data cable - I have so many cables, was on the search for holy grail of cables before finally finding one that worked.. am using the same mac as you..Mac will never see the controller. @@How-to-by-Lou Hmmm… You may be on to something. I was just playing with my camera last night with the gimbal and it wasn’t working. Turns out it was the cable. The cable works fine with my CFExpress card reader but it didn’t work with the camera+gimbal setup. There is apparently chips in the cable that tell the devices how fast it will go, etc. And I think Amazon has dongles that can read the chatter but I’ve not spent the time to find one.
When the RC is connected to your pc and the latest software is installed is that it? Just turn on the drone and fly? Doesn't the drone need to be updated as well once powered on and connected to the RC? And if so how is that done? I remember in the past having to connect to the drone and wait for the lights to blink in certain patterns and beeps to complete the updates.
Normally that would be the case but I actually have to use an older computer to get this app to work. Apparently it's not compatible with newer machines. It's going to be hit or miss depending on your operating system.
the app doens't recognize my controler if i plug it in my pc. Do i also need to plug in my drone or what could be the problem as a result of wich my controler doens't show up in the app?
I have a "Recalibrate the Vision System" error. I have tried 20 times to connect my Mavic 2 with my computer, with no luck. I tried a different cable, and all the different steps: turn on Mavic, plug into computer, etc. Any suggestions?
Was just trying the same thing yesterday and nothing…. Maybe try flashing updating the firmware again.. Will try again later when I get back… was trying this on the Avata - which crashed in this video below So wound up doing care refresh. Let us know if putting new firm ware solves it.. won’t be able to test it with replacement drone since it doesn’t need calibration ua-cam.com/video/MW_-69tj1pE/v-deo.htmlsi=gJzgM3AHWsIi-tYE
Mavic 2: My remote control do not update to firmware v0790-2022. I've tried so many times. I downgrade, back to the fabric configurations, then update again and he keeps in the version of 2021. The drone it's in the right version, but the remote control not. Then are an incompatibility and I can take off, the signal goes on then off, on and off. Any help? To be honest im desperate. Best regards from Brazil!
Tad tricky - if you have another computer try from there.. Or maybe another version of the DJI assist. Maybe you need one for the Mavic series that you have and not the one that's in this video.. www.dji.com/downloads/softwares/assistant-dji-2
I literally had the same problem with my kids MacBook. Had to force the download and trust the program as an administrator. I ended up just buying a cheap Lenovo laptop with windows for like $200 because Betaflight port failure was the next issue with the MacBook. Hope this helps
Have to use a high speed data cable.. That should do the trick.. Or right click on the app/show package contents/click onContents/MacOS/ClickAssistant Hope this helps.. Let us know how it goes..
No matter how many times I reinstalled the program. I'm still getting the message " the program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-[1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer."
having the same issue - seems to work on older machines running older OS. You might have better luck connecting to app from phone if you have the goggles and update it that.... It's not your machine it's the DJI app -
Hi I did exactly the same thing as you, I have the same windows and everything and I have dji assistance for fpv drone that's what I wanted. Then I try to download the latest version for dji fpv but it won't download it at the time of transmission. I have a mac M1 with 14.3 not the latest. So my question is why is it not downloading it? 👍❤️❤️
It's been hit or miss with the mac. Actually have a machine that has not been updated in a year that the DJI assistant app still works on. It's hit or miss with the M1 MacBook Air - some months it works and on others I have revert back to the old machine
It could be the cable - try using a different cable - data cable Or different computer .. had similar issue and had to revert to a different machine running a lower version of the operating system .. Try that … hope it works
If the Consumer version doesn't work then try the regular DJI assistant - this solution will work for some - also try a different USB-C cable, perhaps a data cable. I have many USB-C cables ad only 3 work on the drones.
you should be able to update your dji drones and accessories with this method. It's not exclusive to any particular product. It's for the whole family of drones. If it doesn't work you'll have to try the another DJI assist app but the consumer version works for many but hit or miss.
Remote Id the firmware prohibits reverting back to a previous firmware. Probably why when using Assistant 2 you do not see a previous firmware to revert to. It was once there. but not anymore..
Was actually live sharing other possible ways.. Windows can be a tad challenging.. Maybe Captain Drones might have a solution. Which drone are you trying to update ua-cam.com/users/liveZWuYxBdqbUA
