My early game fav is rolling axe + dagger = throwing axe that sell for lots of gold. act 1 shop seals them and I collect them. I use 3 chip gems for rerolling necro wands. Makes a bunch of gold. I love trying to roll my rings into a telly charge ammy and my ammy's in to a max mf ring :)
I always spend my pgems in a magic monarch. 3 pgems+blue monarch (or any blue item)=another roll of that blue item. This way i might get a jmod (jewelers monarch of deflection)
in over 400 hours of solo self found nonsense. im up to a gul cubing from countess runs. obviously not all 400 hours has been spent doing countess runs. but i just want to throw some light at how impractical it is to cube up runes. offline or SSF players, sure i get it. its the only way. but if your playing online and have the ability to trade. cubing runes is the biggest waste of your time imaginable. dont even bother with it. the numbers are way too insanely high. its 512 pul runs to make one ber rune. not to mention the gems you need. cube grand charms. crafter amulets and belts. thats it. maybe some add sockets to a white archon plate (tal, thul, ptopaz) in hopes of that elusive 3os. but dont cube runes. if you dont have to. your time is better spent doing actual magic find runs, clearing terror zones, or just baal runs.
Yeah I tried to cube up runes and it is just not worth it - only exception is if I need 1 tier higher than what I have and have 2 or 3 needed to get it. Good advice though!
Defo. Also upgrading rare & unique weapons and sometimes armor might be useful. Online I cube runes up to Ral for quick trading for Ist. I don't bother with cubing low runes that need a gem. Then it comes handy to cube a higher rune when you need one. In singleplayer I cubed a Ber and some other high runes but starting with already high runes, not from the bottom of the list.
I think the best Cube recipe for begining is the White Item into Socket (Random sockets). Like when you find a Crystal sword from Nightmare, 40 All resist pala Shield, Goos etherial Armor for Merc, and you dont want to spend socking quest.
its worth noting the socket quest from larzuk will ALLWAYS give you the maximum number of sockets for the item. so sometimes it is better to use the recipe as opposed to larzuk. for example a white archon plate with larzuk will be 4os every single time and you need 3os for enigma. so the (tal,thul,p-topaz) socket recipe is needed for that.
Another good recipe is a Blue wand (any weapon) and 3 chipped gems. It re-roll the Blue item and add sockets. It can be veey usefull if you roll low resist wand charges or something like that.

These are all great recipes - I will need to try the throwing axe one!

That is a good call - I have yet to find a single monarch somehow on this character. Hopefully soon!
You might. Did you ever?
@@yan-amar no just started doing this a few days ago lol
If you put in wirt's leg and a scroll of tp, then prsss Alt+f4 you get a super special cow level

Agreed. Larzuk will always give max sockets. This is a good recipe though!
@@uberempty sure. But i save it for shako and other items, because i am lazy to makw new chars. 😆😆😆
Informative 😊
Thanks bud! Glad you liked it!

Another good one - a low res wand is a super underrated item in the swap slot
