Wow. Walmart online now has mielang and Paul Ruben. Great prices as well. The 36 mielang wc set only 14.99! Ohuhu through Target great price too. Thanks Lindsay 🎉
I LOVE this project - one of my favorite things you've done. It's just so fun and bright and cheery - makes me smile to look at it. I can't wait to give it a try!!
Do what you do... but i preferred the poppies before you added so many stamps. It is a beautiful piece, with or without. Thank you! And all the useful.other tips that you sprinkle throughout! Post-its, water in bleed proof white, saving shavings! You are the best Lindsay!
Wow amazing painting I’m going to try this one I am long time supporter of yours and viewer I like painting flowers it’s fun to mix it up with different mixed media watercolours is my fave
I’m loving the stamps over your work. It’s not something I would have thought of, and it looks great. Also a nice way to get use out of my stamps that I love but just don’t reach for as much anymore.
Ohhh, your mixed media flowers look so beautiful!! And I loved seeing the universal template in action again (can't wait to get mine!). I didn't know you can reconstitute bleed proof white ink!! I was really bummed earlier this summer when mine got hard. I'll try to bring him back to life tomorrow, hehe.
I have all of those water-soluble wax pastels and then some. I prefer the Caran D'ache half sticks after the Neocolor I and II. I have them for my granddaughter so that we can work together with similar products. I make sure she has her own supplies that are safe for children to use. We have a great time together and she is so young that she has no performance anxiety.
I LOVE this Lindsey! I have been wanting to do mixed media pieces. This is great! Plus I did not know about Craft Stash. The want monster is activated!😀
If you have distilled water, you can spray that on your bleed proof ink. It may help to cover the jar with a small square of Press’n Seal before you replace the lid. Thanks Lindsey!
Hi Lindsay loved this mixed media piece thanks for sharing. I was just wondering will it be possible to order the older sketch book floozy stencils? Also with you be showing your other new stencils in videos coming up soon?
Another winning video Lindsay! Quick question...I bought neocolors open stock and now have almost a full set. Do you have any tips on storing them? I see you're using the tin they came in, but I don't have that. Thanks! I love how this came out and I'm excited to get the grid.
I found actual art tins in a thrift store. The tins were empty Prismacolor, Derwent, ect tins. I just put a big label on them so I would know what was in them.
getting companies to call the same colors the same name would be like trying to get every clothing company to make sizes all the same.... it would be WONODERFUL but never going to happen lol
Have you actually used them? They look so similar but I wasn't willing to take the risk because they were kinda pricey on amazon. I don't know if they areceven available anymore.
@@thefrugalcrafter I have - they are pretty good! In fact I bought 3 boxes of them when they were really cheap because I liked them so much and I like using them for underpainting (I put my Neocolors over them). They are little bit creamier, kind of in between Mungyo watersoluble oil pastels and Neocolor II, but still hard enough that they are not quite an oil pastel. I muuuuch prefer them to the Mungyos. The best are still the Neos but Sunnys are my joint second fave together with Lyra (what I like about Lyra and the reason they are joint second is that they are more watercolour-like when activated, so they offer something different, but sadly they feel much "waxier" when dry, and I prefer my wax pastels to be a bit creamier), Sunnys are the closest to Neos IMO. If they are expensive, I'd say stick to Swisscolor crayons and Neos. I got my Sunnys for I think £15 for the big box and at that price they are fantastic.
Sorry to ask such an old question, but in your Splatter Video (ua-cam.com/video/TNH3YQQe-Ag/v-deo.htmlsi=tQP3usrMRHDf64Ij) from 4 years ago, you use a tool that you put orange paint on and twist to create a fine mist. Could you please tell me what that tool is and, if possible, where I could get one? Thank you so much!
Your mixed media work is so pretty. The bright colours you use make your art look so cheery! Thanks for the video Lindsay.
Thank you so much!

This is great. I loved having videos 2 days in a row 😊
Yay! Thank you!
Great video. FYI those plastic post-its are similar to yupo paper 👍 also great for a traveling palette.
Good to know!
I'm here Friday 13th.

They will be restocking them! I think next month.

@@taylorjudi this is a great idea and spurred me to remember I had an old colored pencil tin that will work. Thanks so much!
I like having them flat in a try, you could try a puzzle sorting box which is a set of trays that stack.
@@thefrugalcrafter great idea!
You can add isopropyl to help with dried markers…etc… I have saved many a good marker with it.

Haha! That would be nice!
the closest thing to Neo II for very cheap is the Sunny watersoluble pastels. I imagine they are not as lightfast though!
Have you actually used them? They look so similar but I wasn't willing to take the risk because they were kinda pricey on amazon. I don't know if they areceven available anymore.

What drives me crazy is when they call orange, red and blue, purple.
Yes!
