Never saw this before today. Living in Toronto, I get an 'envious reaction from some Canadians. Especially, it is alright at first. Then, the comparison between our Countries. Canada is so much better than the States. Only because, they rely heavily on our Military Industrial Complex! That allows ca., to use their money for having nice subways, clean streets, & Social Welfare! The last one is the most important! It is safe. Canadians have such a fear of the cops! Living here for 45 years. If they see a cop car, everyone begins orderly driving to the hilt. OBEY! I grew up as a Border kid. Detroit, & Buffalo til H.S., then L.I.U. in downtown Brooklyn. I am an American-Indian Full-blood Mohawk. Lived in Boston, Wooster, Providence, Groton, Conn., Bkln, Bflo, Bkln & Toronto. Finally, coming back to Bkln in a year or so. They have 'Provincial' (State) control of Alcohol & 🍺. The ca. Gov't was saying in 1983, there would be beer (6-pack). Going on 2023, finally have some wine & warm beer only in 'Loblaws" (Corporate only those allowed). NO CORNER STORES STILL!!! 😢 Canada has an Electronic Curtain up w/ the States. They BLOCK THE SUPERBOWL COMMERCIALS! They want to keep the revenue for themselves. Canadians want to see them. They pleaded to their CRTC, = our FCC. It went to their Supreme Court. They ruled: " The Commercials were to be allowed." Victory, right? NO! Canada stopped the Commercials again 😒! Canada stopped the Commercials again! Rationale: The Free Trade Act to block 🚫 our US Commercials. Bye-bye Commercials 👋! You need a 12 Ft. Satellite. I don't understand why the hell is Canada so afraid of our American Culture. Just to end with my being caught up on how I feel Canada 🇨🇦 takes financial & Military protection due to location. The States has found ca. as an economy boost. Canadians love our American Culture! Our Corporations opened here. Toronto is like a mimic American set. That is why Am. Corps. make TV here. They're eating up our programming & our dress and behavior.
