Wow I’m impressed at how great the dorms look! Thank you for showing us. I had a question that’s kind of unrelated so I’ll cut straight to the chase - what is it like being stationed at Little Rock AFB more specifically as a person of color? I am mixed race and my husband is fully black. Living in a place where we feel welcomed and safe is important to us. I don’t think anyone wants to live somewhere where a large percentage of the population hates you because of your skin color. After some research on Arkansas I’m not so keen about it being one of the places we may be getting stationed. Some facts we learned made the both us pretty uncomfortable tbh. The KKK headquarters, sundown towns, and that the majority of hate crimes in AR are race related. . . The list could go on but I think you get the gist of what I’m trying to say. I might be overthinking everything but it honestly worries me. Any feedback would greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! 💕
This makes me unbelievably livid, I am in the Marines and this compared to our "rooms" is literally a five star hotel. Y'all even get housekeeping like wtaf??? In the Marine Corps, the only privacy we have is in the bathroom.
