SERIES:
In September 2021, AZ Compass Prep opened its doors to Fresh Focus Sports allowing an all access look at one of the premiere programs in the country. Located in Chandler, Arizona , AZ Compass Prep has been a basketball program for just over 5 years. Led by, Head Coach Ed Gipson, the Dragons made huge strides last season when they reach the final four of the 2021 GEICO Nationals. Ty Ty Washington, now Kentucky's star freshman guard, had a magical season for AZ Compass and was one shot away from dethroning powerhouse, Montverde Academy.
Now, to start this 2021-22 season the Dragons have stocked up talent from all over the country. Senior 4 star point guards , Dylan Andrews (UCLA) and Chance Westry (Auburn) are the older veterans on the team, but its the 5 star juniors that has everyone creating so much hype, Mookie Cook (#5 ranked by ESPN) and Kylan Boswell (#20 ranked by ESPN).
