Johnson Trail | eMTB Trail Ride

Distance 10.28 miles, Elev Gain 2237ft , Cathedral City Cove. Dunn road to Johnson Trail.

The ending to this trail is always sobering to me and reminds me how much I don't know about mountain biking. Or that I'm just not as crazy (or skilled) as a Pro Mountain Biker. The views are spectacular, and the start to mid sections of Johnson Trail all but make up for the near death experiences at the end..lol.

My first time riding this was few months ago but we turned around at 13:01 and went Hahn. Looks like ill have to go back and try the hard stuff at the end

Might need a rope to get down this trail, it's a lot like 10 ply trail from Big Bear with some exposure added to the mix, for sure just made for the pros.

dang did you have it boost mode and high gear going up that first section of dunn? 50% is ALOT

one under boost, I changed the settings (in the Shimano E-Tube app) from 3 steps to 7, I was on step 6 the whole ride. And I weigh 225 all geared up. Need to lose at least 15 pounds or get one of them 720 batteries when they come out. And I did start from halfway down the cove on Terrace Rd. But yeah, Dunn sucks the batteries off this bike quick. I can only (barely) do 2 hour rides out there for now so I keep them short for now. Still a good ride considering if I was on my regular bike the time of this ride would be doubled.
