After you put the foil gel on and put it in the lamp let it set for about a min after you pull your hand out of the lamp to let it cool down and it gets a little more sticky and also if you have a rubber cuticle pusher to rub on the transfer foil that helps a lot as well
I have tried both of these suggestions and I just can’t seem to get the foils to stick.

Thought I was the only one who made my own cuticle oils. I’m about to infuse some sweet almond oil with eucalyptus and peppermint. I just love those scents together. 💕

@@KristinaRobinson It was actually a happy accident that I learned how. I’d bought my daughter a leather messenger bag and was making her a leather conditioner. While mixing the ingredients they felt amazing on my hands and smelled wonderful. It works great on cuticles, leather, hair, skin, and lips. Love it.

Try curing the foil glue for 60 sec and use a silicone tool to rub the design. I found that using my fingers wasn’t enough

Did you cure the glue first an then add the foil design? Or do you leave the design on and then cure it?

Love these! I have been trying to use the beetles nail foil glue; I've watched several videos, played around with curing times, tried wiping the nail with lint free wipes. I just can't get it to work. What is the secret that I'm missing??
Honestly I haven’t found the secret yet lol sometimes this still gives me a little trouble! I Find that the best way to do it is to apply a thin coat and cure for about 50 secs and then let sit for a few seconds then apply the foil. I also use recommend those silicone tools those help a lot with smoothing on the foils
Do you cure it with the plastic on or you push the design down on the nail then cure them after laying design?
So you cure the glue and it makes it tacky then you press on the Foil design rub it and once it’s transferred you can go ahead and encapsulate the nail with gel, polygel,acrylic or even top coat.

@@KristinaRobinson That’s cool. Won’t take up too much space. I’ve been having trouble with the Beetles foil glue so much that I’ve almost given up on trying the foils, which I overbought 😂 Will it work for that also?
Sorry just saw this!! Yes it will work! I completely understand I have trouble with their foil glue sometimes too! I can never get the cure time perfectly right lol I currently use the IGEL Beauty foil glue and that works a lot better for me!

Hey! I’m using IBD Clear Builder Gel! But you could use any clear polygel!

I ordered an actual polygel nail kit. But neither of the 2 bottles in there count as tht right.? Just base and regular top?
Yes but you could use the top coat to encapsulate foil just use 2 coats ☺️

If the nails are any more opaque you wouldn’t be able to cure them with gel and UV light
Thats definitely true! I figured that was the reason. I was just hoping the color of the tips would look the same on my nails as it does in the packaging 🥺 I still really enjoyed them though!
