Groudle Glen Railway [4K]

A visit to the GGR during our last day on the Island, September 25th 2016. It was a glorious morning to ride this pleasant little line, and as a bonus the unique Steamplex loco was in operation.

Ah wonderful, thanks! It's a lovely line and the Steamplex is a great machine - was nice to see it on my home turf recently (Ffestiniog) - has a cracking beat, I look forward to seeing it again with an extra cylinder! It was nice to see the new carr shed points too, I was working on our PW when your railway bought the turnout, remember seeing it at Minffordd prior to dispatch. My wife and I fell in love with the IoM and aim to return. :)

You're welcome. John and I are already working on the new engine for the loco. I helped install the turnout too - I'm a regular volunteer at GGR, Guard and Driver.
