  • As the child size warp weighted loom nears completion, we work some more on the full size loom and look at fitting all the parts together.
I now have a 'buy me a coffee' page which helps fund my ongoing research and the making of these free videos. If you'd like to support me, please visit ko-fi.com/sall... Thank you!

I just found your videos! I'm going to watch all of your videos and then try to build my own loom. My goal is to learn enough to perform the whole process of making fabric from collecting, carding and spinning wool up to weaving and sewing. Everything by hand, no machines.

Your sawing technique is better than mine, so don't worry yourself about it! The looms are looking great, I look forward to learning how they work. :)

That looks awesome! I want to come play!
I wrapped mine with rawhide strips as well as pegged. Adds to the look of it and stabilized the joints wonderfully.
Of course your pegs are much better than mine. :)

If I was keeping them in one place that's an excellent plan, but I'll be regularly taking mine apart to go to events and teaching sessions, so mine have to knock down completely. Rawhide is a great choice for stabilisation.

I was so inspired, I've just finished my own loom (also from coppiced wood).
