I actually like this version, what would save the dorm however is if they did the same as Leblanc, sometimes it’s the vocal version and sometimes it’s the instrumental.
that would be cool, i really liked that P5 really waited till halfway through the game before you actually heard the vocal version, as if joker is slowly discovering himself and beng able to to sing the lyrics
I finally noticed my biggest problem with p3r's ost, the trumpets are by far my favorite part of every persona song they appear in, but the ones in every song I've heard from the p3r ost sound flaccid, I also miss the old vocals and samples but I can eventually get over that
I think the brass section in the og 3 were for sure a lot brighter, but they were also very limited in the articulation they could use and couldn't do much expression. Atsushi Kitajoh, while his choice of horns do come off as a bit flat, absolutely knows his way around the VST and can do some really interesting work when he chooses to.
yeah im not a huge fan of the canned horns, but i recognize its a sound choice cause the violin sax and flute are def real. I think hes going for that tape trumpet sound@@remimakesmusic
Terrible remix like every other remix of the original P3 songs (with the exception of Changing Seasons, now THAT was good). The only saving grace for this one are Lotus Juice's vocals. I'd bear with the remixes for my first playthrough and change it up with an OG soundtrack option for subsequent playthroughs. P3 Reload's new tracks are all pretty good, though, and hopefully the OG soundtrack mod or option coming up won't fully replace them.
