Glad to hear that you are enjoying the Silver and I'm pretty sure you will continue to enjoy it down the road. One of the (many) facets that I love about it is that it does very well in all seasons, even in the summer when it is hot and humid. While the base is rich and opulent, it never gets cloying to me, which I really appreciate given that here in Hong Kong the weather is hot and humid for most of the year. This is one of the few perfumes in my collection that I find to be 100% signature scent worthy, suitable for all occasions, weather conditions, etc. I also find it to be very unique and have not come across anything that really smells similar to me. I've never smelled Portos before, but I guess that's one more to add to the target list.

The perfume he reviewed was one of the newer ones, but because of that, I have noticed some bottles on ebay from some of the sellers I purchase from. I never knew about his vintage perfumes, so thank you for the info on Silver. I haven't sampled Portos, but will keep my eyes out.

That 1k mark is creeping up ;) Just wanted to report on a few frags I got from your recommendations. Tenere is an absolute stunner! I got it for the honey note and Im not disappointed it’s such a clear heavy honey note with some white flowers to me I absolutely love it.
I also got vintage Givanchy gentleman and I really like it, it’s always been on my list until ofc you sold it for me. Now, I love the scent with the patchouli being very dominant and some smooth honey, but, I found that it struggles with performance on me. So I’m wondering if it’s something wrong with the juice I got maybe or my skin just doesn’t push it out or if it’s actually that way for you too?
I am so glad you like Tenere & Givenchy gentleman... the EDT I have lasts forvever... its a beast .. i have two bottles.. one splash and one spray.. the splash might last a hair longer but they both last all day 😊

Also got paco rabbane pour homme with the raised R for the honey ofc ;) took me off by surprise didn’t expect what I smelt at all. I’m taking a liking to it for sure, smells like a classic aromatic fougere with roughness to me. But I can’t really say I pick out honey 🤔 more testing ofc but I got so many others as well haha Vintage polo green is soooo good I did not expect that at all, It smells classy as hell

I, like you was bowled over upon first sniff and just knew it was my jam ( sorry picking up phrases my teenage kids use)! The bottle design alone hints at this is a serious fragrance, that gold banding on the silver top an unnecessary detail but adds to it's sense of style and quality. Aigner is a brand that is all over German drugstores. Explosive and No2 are probably the best ones still around. The current formulation of No2 is actually pretty decent considering that you can a bottle for as low as 12 Euros…
The current Aigners ... sold in drugstores in Germany ... can't be compared to the discountinued vintage ones ... neither in smell nor in quality. The current No. 1 e.g. has nothing in common with the vintage ( red ) one.

Great shoutout to the 900 in da know subs ,which then lit a light bulb 💡 and it centers around the free bottle push from big expensive ,all that glitters is not gold fragrance companies that ply their wares in expensive perfume retailers and high end retail exclusive department stores with great success ,catering to the higher income bracket whom like to sport ,clothing and jewelry and nice smelling but gotta be expensive and glitzy bottles of perfume etc .So my point is are these same companies completely mad trying to push glitzy meh type fragrances to a fragrance community who know their fragrances and hobby inside out and can pick a dud to pieces in a single half sniff ?? Ultimately these companies are destroying any confidence or respect to a formidable and rapidly growing community who hold sway to anyone entering the fragrances arena and are souring these newer and indeed old faithful fragheads with shilling reviews and ,my thoughts are indeed my own hmm ,Ashton spoke his truth on this subject,respect there brother.But ultimately it’s our own smarts and gut feelings on how a review goes down ,someone waxing lyrically on a fragrance that smells like something they trashed a few months ago yeah whatever,just the thoughts of a perfume peasant rant over lol. Delighted with the double for your money haul and I know you will get a kinski I the future 🙏✌️
Yeah thats exactly right... i think there are some brands that cater to the fragrance community and people like us for example les indemodables (the new kid on the block) or Frederic Malle (the old kid on the block since their status has decreased now that he is under the tenticles of Estee lauder) and of course brands like Chanels Les Exclusives who focus on the juice and give you plain packaging because you assume the money is going to the juice not a glitzy cap 🤷♂️ There needs to be more brands step up to the plate and put the emphasis on the juice IMHO

Hi Ramsey, quite a bit of perfume has been used from the 10 ml decanter for 1 day. How many ml on average do you use per day as a daily scent?
Its a 12ml decant not 10ml.. so it is maybe an ML a day ... give or take 😊
