DakotaXPRO Yeah I've actually looked at Iron Planet since I actually found out about the site through googling 'hmmwv for sale australia', unfortunately as far as I know they don't export outside of the US. For now I'll have to save up for one of the very few restored ones for sale here which are upwards of 60 000 usd - I know that's the average price but I'm still a trainee and being on trainee wages...it's a bit out of my ballpark to say the least lol, although I think I might look at any partially restored one at the hummer marketplace, see if the seller is willing to ship to aus, then work on it as a project. Would be a wonderful DIY project.

You need to put a switch on the fan. Every humvee i seen go through water deeper then 20 inches breaks the fan blades off. i have a civillian h1 but my blades are aluminum so i dont have that problem.
Great video, but why did you avoid almost all of the obstacles? Your HMMWV could have handled so much more than even the obstacles you "drove around" Great video, look forward to your next one.
Love the vid, did u register this m998 as a fmr mv, I’m doing mines as we speak , did the inspection, but I’m holding off to see if I can get it as a reg Florida title like my other m998, too much restriction on the fmr MV title...its harder now with all the restriction and every state as catch on, so I’m leaving that as a last resort....keep up the great vids, I’m in homestead fl, where is surburban florida, is that up by Titusville side between 27 and 95?
mygooglusername US-192 between Kissimmee and Melbourne in Central Florida. Private access land, have to purchase and have a deed or be a guest of an owner. Ownership can be had for under $1000 for a third acre and pay Florida property taxes after that, taxes are under $20 yearly.
to funny, i had the same issue happen with me. went out mudding broke off two blades and then heading back home about 3 miles from the hole the fan ripped off and the water pump prettty much blew up. $69 pump at advance $140 fan from AM. did you make any mods after you repaired your humvee? so this would happen again
Kage Newman umm I ended up just asking for a montana title from iron planet and then when I got it I just had it transferred to a florida title. the montana title doesn't say off road use only on it. & thanks!
HoopD#Humvee M998 I know of someone in Florida that sells the hard doors for $1,600 which is what I paid for mine. The doors are fiberglass but you can also get metal plates that go on the outside skins of the door. I would keep checking Ebay and also on SteelSoldiers.com. But $1,600 is a decent deal from what I have been seeing. If I see anything come up I will let you know.
Whether you're a soldier or a redneck, you have to admit Humvees are unbeatable off-road.
I liked it. Fast moving fans don’t like to be splashed with water and tend to spray water in electronics so don’t plow into water

If you loosen off your fan belt before fording through deep water you won't break the blades off
