I don’t care if you hate the patriots or not, if I ask you to pick any team in the history of the NFL to run a franchise mode with in madden, more than half of ya would pick the 07 Patriots.
Russell Wilson might be the nicest and also the most humble human being in professional sports. That being said, he and Randy Moss conversing is comedic GOLD. I love Randy Moss but these two guys are night and day different.
Randy went from saying I “play when I want to” to being about that work because Bill has created that kind of culture. Players make plays but coaches get them in position to make plays.
dee see he brought 22 TD’s out of Randy and took him to a SB. He never achieved that before Bill. You can good kid can be a great kid with the right guidance and parenting.
dee see 22 and a SB is still better than a NFC upset and 18 tds. Randy’s career was on the outs after being let go by Oakland. Bill helped save Randy’s career. That Oakland stint solidified his possible career and that’s why Randy is thankful.
Beckley and Charleston have a lot of country black folk, randy is from the same county Charleston is in, they all talk like this in WV and western Virginia, he’s got that Appalachian accent
The ironic thing is that when Brady blew his knee out Belichick replaced him with a "high school quarterback" Matt Castle who never threw a pass in a college game and won 11 games with him. The team was that good with a tuned in Moss they could do that. Missed the playoffs by a fluke. Would have won 14 or 15 that year with Brady but 11 with Castle was pretty impressive.
@chewy98ta28 The 2008 Patriots scored 179 fewer points(11.2 PPG) then the 2007 team and Matt Cassell threw for 1,113 fewer yards, 29 fewer tds, 4 more interceptions, and a 27.8 decrease in passer rating from Tom Brady in 2007 with the only subtractions from the team being Asante Samuel and Tom Brady himself. The 2008 Patriots also had the 5th easiest SOS and were 2-4 against playoff teams while still missing the playoffs and not winning the division. The 2007 Patriots had the 8th hardest SOS while being 6-0 against playoff teams in the regular season. And I just love how you conveniently left out the fact that team that went 11-5 with Matt Cassell was also that same team that went 18-1 and were a miracle helmet catch away from a perfect 19-0 season the year before. That same team with Brady broke every offensive NFL record that season. 18 wins to 11 wins. That's a 7 game drop off. And the great BB couldn't even make the playoffs with all that talent. Also Matt Cassell left New England and went 10-6 two years in a row and made the postseason and was a pro bowler with the Chiefs the following season. They even won the division. He threw 27 tds and 7 ints. So he was a decent QB. You have to put things in its proper perspective and use context and not just lazy analysis. And you can't forget that BB went 5-13 with Drew Bledsoe(4x pro bowl QB) in his first 18 games in New England as head coach. That's the same record as the Colts started with Peyton Manning in Indianapolis who had the first pick in the draft.
@@broderickcrawford8110 You missed the part where I said the Patriots would have won 3 or 4 more regular season games with Brady. You must have BDS (Belichick Derangement Syndrome) where you have the need to give him no credit and you also have a case of BJSS (Brady Jock Sniffer Syndrome) and think he's the second coming of Jesus. Honestly, Brady is a weird guy. A great quarterback, but he's a little weird. Casell was an average quarterback, Bledsoe was a decent quarterback. I wasn't even that complimentary of Belichick as a coach who I'm not that crazy about as a person but more of how good that team was with a guy that got his last start 8 or 9 years earlier in High School. 11 wins which makes the playoffs in nearly every 16 game NFL schedule scenario is a big accomplishment. Maybe I was wrong and they would have went 16 and 0 again with Brady because they were good enough but I just thought it wasn't likely they would repeat a perfect record.
He used to be a guy who didn't like talking to the press, but now he is a media professional and speaking on national television is what he does... of course he had to lose the West Virginia drawl!
Remember in 20/21 when Brady clowned Belichick by leaving the patriots and taking the bucs to the super bowl when Bills team couldn’t even get to .500?
You know what’s funny? It took til 2020 for athletes to get smart and say we don’t need these sport casters who are old and never played our game... ESPN in trouble,.
What a clueless take with zero validity behind it. There isn't a single athlete owning a major sports network and all 3 major sports are in major ratings decline due to the brainwork of their athletes. Lol!
6th. Wow, like an F1 race, my team took third, fourth and 6th. Nice. There is a fool at 5th who thinks he is 4th and better than everybody. Know your place
And Randy is speaking the truth, that is why the Pats are moving on from Bill, because the players cannot take it like men used to. They are soft now. SMH
Not the fact that the Giants had some no WR catch the luckiest pass ever but the fact that Tom Brady overthrew the greatest deep threat of all time with like 15 sec left on the clock
LOL yeah that's the only reason and not because the Giants Dline domination, Asante dropping pick, or the luckiest escape and throw in NFL history by Eli Manning and Tyree.
When Randy speaks you listen... goat talk
I don’t care if you hate the patriots or not, if I ask you to pick any team in the history of the NFL to run a franchise mode with in madden, more than half of ya would pick the 07 Patriots.
What an odd thing to say
J Fowler facts. I would’ve still picked the Saints.
07' Patriots & 16' Warriors are the greatest teams I've ever witnessed (regardless of coming short)
S T the pats cheated lol
S T how are they the greatest if they came short u a clown😂😂😂
I hated the patriots. But that team with Randy i really wanted to win. Moss was my guy man from a young age. The year 98 randy.
We need more Randy Moss in NFL
I know
My fantasy team misses Moss. I generally had Moss or T.O. every season.
Checking your phone the whole time, especially when you're the host just isn't a great look.
DUKEblue nah it looked dumb
I think its likely he has some talking point in the phone, but I agree it looks like you are not paying attention to the guest.
Bro don’t make excuses for his unprofessionalism.
For real. I honestly don't know how some of these ESPN guys get jobs to begin with.
Sounds like you’re nitpicking
Randy Moss hit the nail on the head 3 hours give it everything you got👍
Randy is up to his neck in sand and he STILL has the time for a football anecdote.
Russell Wilson's like "Papa Pete has never even talked to me like that."
I love Russell Wilson jokes

Randy was great way before he got to the Patriots come on we not gonna give Bill credit for Randy being great
dee see he brought 22 TD’s out of Randy and took him to a SB. He never achieved that before Bill. You can good kid can be a great kid with the right guidance and parenting.
Javan Carter well Randy had 18 his rookie yr and if Bill brought it outta Randy why hasn’t he did that for another Wr 🤦🏾♂️
dee see exactly
dee see 22 and a SB is still better than a NFC upset and 18 tds. Randy’s career was on the outs after being let go by Oakland. Bill helped save Randy’s career. That Oakland stint solidified his possible career and that’s why Randy is thankful.
Randy Moss sounds more country than me, and I'm from MS. Lmao
Lol I bet he own a 4x4 a deer rifle and some old country cd’s
Shout out to the Sip!
Theres a lot of country black people out there. Randy is from Rand lol
Beckley and Charleston have a lot of country black folk, randy is from the same county Charleston is in, they all talk like this in WV and western Virginia, he’s got that Appalachian accent
He’s from West Virginia what you expect..lol
One of my favorite sports stories of all time 😂
I'll never forget watching the Pats/Seahawks superbowl and seeing two of the best quarterbacks go at it.
Russell Wilson?? Lmfao

Good interview despite Wilson finishing Randy's sentences.
The culture of a team really does mean everything.
That’s would have been a great combo if they could ha e stayed together they had a good 2 years together
I LOVE THIS SHEEITE 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
MOSS!!!!
Randy purposely not addressing the guy looking at his phone, good.
*I got a Hall of Fame WR & QB that couldnt Win a Superbowl when they were Undefeated.* 🤦🏽♂️😔😒
It still bothers me.. smh
The giants D line was the truth
The irony of this is that DK Metcalf made a boneheaded play in the game right after this vs the Cowboys hot dogging it before scoring a TD.
Love Randy's country accent
GOAT
Second half of the video was well spoken.
Edelman told it funnier. "There are kids at Foxborough High that can make that play"
I didn't know Randy Moss had a country accent 😄
Yea I learned that a long time ago,it was very surprising at first
He from West virginia you all 🧢🕶👕👖🤣🥰👨🌾🧑🌾
Randy was trying to tell Russ this long ago lmao. I don't think Russ really listened much. No way Pete Carrol was this hard on him
Please get Future as a guest
Pippen too
What would they talk about? Future is not an athlete and Russ doesn’t pretend to like hip hop like that

That's why Tom got the F out of there!
