Awesome video, Thank-You! Express Clydesdales, very nice of you to offer a clinic like this, way to go Guys!! I love watching you Guys in the area, very nice hitch you have!!
Ive always loved the clydestales draft horses when i get older id love to get into this i have 40 acres in belchertown mass always wanted to do this just was never mature enough where now i would put the time in
I love these heavies but I find it unnecessary to totally remove there tail in this manner a horse has a tail for a reason and there are other ways of ensuring that it does not get entangled in the leathers when working
I truly love the Gentla Giants program however, the judging at the finals is so disappointing. Instead of the hitches being judged by the characteristics of the particular breed, they are judged by the Percheron standards. Clydesdales are never placed in the higher positions. Yes, their movement is not as high stepping as the Percherons but that is not what their breed does. Belgians are also never in the top 3 They are super powerful, but not as light legged as the Percherons. If the AKC finals were done like this, only one breed of dog would always win best of show. You can not judge all breeds by the same criteria. That is never going to be a fair final.
Well done ladies. Just found this channel and I couldn't stop watching. The power, grace and elegance of these horses is overwhelming. Thanks

I don't see why they're docking tails if the tail is going to be braided up anyway. Tail docking is illegal in the UK where the breed originates.
