Chester FC 2-0 Scunthorpe United

A trip to Chester, lots has changed since we last played here. This game was in doubt too, with all the flooding that had been happening round the country. The game got the go ahead at 9am. Which didn’t help some who were on trains, as services were cancelled between Donny and Sheffield.
Though the train cancellations were maybe a blessing in disguise for some, as the football on show from Scunthorpe wasn’t the greatest at all. Chester were up for it, we had a good 10 min spell where the best we could muster were an offside goal and hitting the crossbar from a free kick. Other than that it was all Chester. The better team definitely won, with Whitehouse sealing the victory. Who’d have thought 🤣😂
Onto Tuesday night, where we host Spennymoor. Be a tough game, let’s hope we show up for this game on and off the pitch.

Good vlog as usual Gareth and a good following to a long journey. Unfortunately, a defeat and an injury to young Danny is not what you wanted. Hopefully, you should play better tomorrow night. The standard of football in this league is much improved and it would appear that teams know how to frustrate and close things down. Hoping to be at the Gloucester game on the 11th.

Cheers mate, just tell it how I see it. I don’t think any Scunny fan had a bad word to say about him, when he was at ours. At the time we were baffled as to why he went out on loan too. So fair play to him, just doing what he had to 👍🏼
