I dont think it needs "saving" tbh Also i would expect ports of older games to be on NSO, just like the spinoffs. Not only would it immediately make them online enabled, but i dont think they care about rewind/save states (they care about genning)
I don't know wheter or not it'll be, but all new gaming consoles should always be backwards compatible, cuz allowing people to play your older games on the newest model is always a win.
The new Switch can be backwards compatible, and the console should just have better rendering and content as anime graphics are fine enough since video games are meant to be interactive mediums to play in a fantasy world.
I think they are still tryna make the single screen work for ds games. I would rather buy the games to have them available all the time. Make them home compatible also. They could do one a year and people would eat it up. Drop alongside the new titles. Would be dope. I hope they stick to the better details for newer games.we need a mmorpg yall would love it
Pokemon doesn't need to be saved as it is doing fairly well. Also the Switch 2 doesn't sound like much of an improvement. Aside from backwards compatibility, there isn't much difference. Also we won't get a collection of old pokemon games. Sorry but they don't do collections. Even if ports happen, they do it separately. And guess what? you be forced to rent them and not own them. Which is why ports should not happen. Just do remakes. Originals can stay gone.
Pokémon should be rebooted to being Pokémon as a Japanese series it once was. Video games, manga, and figures are enough. 2D Pokémon games can be fun and sell because the saved memory space would allow many mechanics and features, which is how Mew came to be because it was a 2D sprite character, and the anime aesthetic is able to help separate fantasy from reality at best and making the human characters nice to look at and be with. I have already got used to saying the Japanese names and translations like how Ralf and Clark kept their names in the US SNK games instead of being called Paul and Vince. It also worked for Erika, and the Wings are now called Feathers matching the Japanese names and translations.
love the ideas man. i see the vision
Nice Pokemon plushies
