Got into a car accident Sept 17th and car was totaled. Although it was horrific, no one was hurt. My airbags didn't go off and my hood crumpled almost to the windshield without much speed. I feel fortunate knowing I obviously was driving something very dangerous and didn't know it.

To top it off, a previously promised promotion within my current role seems like it's being yanked away, too. I've been looking at my career all year trying to discern my next steps, and it looks like this company, and perhaps even industry, isn't the one for me. So I'm gonna use all my PTO and set my sight on the horizon of possibilities instead.
