I just picked art for gcse, and I found this very helpful, I’ve heard that it’s a hard subject but this definitely helped it seem a lot less daunting :) thanks for the video!
yay! cheering you on rn, glad you found my video helpful, that’s always the goal :) don’t be worried about it too much! as much as it was difficult, it was also a lot of fun and so helpful in improving my art and kind of forced me to get better at it :) if you ever need any extra advice, my comments and instagram dms are always open!
this video is so helpful! i’m currently in year 10 - we don’t have a sketchbook and i’m scared this will affect my grades? my teacher has been making us do the all the work on A3 sheets, i assume we’ll put these into a portfolio at the end but she hasn’t actually mentioned that. will this be an issue?
i also did some work on sheets of paper too! i think they will collect it into a portfolio like you said :) i don’t think this should affect your grade, as long as you have all your work, there shouldn’t be any issues!! glad you found the video helpful😚
@@martynaduhh ahh, ok thank you! my school usually produces fairly good grades so i should probably trust my teacher but i was panicking seeing all the videos on youtube of sketchbook tours when i don’t have one 🙈
@@EliTheGuardian hi! i actually made a video about how i layout my sketchbook and make pages a while ago! hope you find it useful, it’s on my channel or here’s the link🤍 ua-cam.com/video/wap1_nW47TQ/v-deo.html
Toby Treanor have a luck on pinterest :) they have lots of pages or just look at any examples that your teacher has given you if possible. try out some cool backgrounds like newspaper if you want and see what works for your sketch book like if you like drawing/painting more nature/flowers, animals etc... whatever you want, hope this helps and lmk :)
@@martynaduhh I find with mental health and conflict they often use acrylic paints so maybe I should do a different media such as watercolour or coloured pencils
sending my luck to anyone doing gcse art rn
