tysm for this I feel as though my sketchbook is not detailed enough i do produce good pieces of work but my layout of the sketchbook isnt really consistant atm but even from my year 9 and 10 i didnt really have many work in it and i was wondering if i try to put a lot in my year 11 sketchbook if that will make a difference to achieving a higher grade. i hope when you are able to you do more art videos just in general because you work is awesome!
Thanks for watching my video! I've never marked anyones work before so I can't say for sure, but if you put a lot of work in it should only increase your mark so it's definitely a good thing! But make sure all the work you put in is good quality, don't just rush pieces for the sake of having more work if that makes sense, always think 'quality over quantity' x
hi i was wondering what exam board you are as mine is OCR as i've just begun year 10 and I'm kinda freaking out as my friend told me they don't give you as many marks for annotation anymore and it's more focused on the actual artwork, im really hoping that's not true as i don't feel like i'm artistically talented enough to get a 9 if that's the case xxx
Hey, so sorry for the late reply! I was on Edexcel exam board so things might be different and its now 5 years since I sat my GCSEs so a lot could have changed! The actual art work will be the most important part but it is also important to be able to write about your own artwork as well as others work. I'm sure your work is amazing, just believe in yourself! xx
I alway find it really difficult to write about a sample of an artists work that ive replicated, i just can never think of what to write. Like what i did ect. Do you have any specific advice or pointers for that?
I don't think it really matters which artists you study as long as they are relevant to your idea and you have clearly done your own research into them!
There's not really a set rule, I would recommend looking at at least 3 for each book and doing a recreation for at least one but might be a good idea to ask your teacher too
Oh my god you are my saving grace, my a level art teacher hasn’t taught me anything about artist research

artist research and analysis is worth 25% of your final grade
my art teacher sent me this link for help LOL
Where can I get acetate sheets for art from?

Do examiners consider the artist that we study? Eg is it better to do a less common artist?
I don't think it really matters which artists you study as long as they are relevant to your idea and you have clearly done your own research into them!
@@LiaSophie ok thank you💗
Can i share you one image and can u write analysis for it please ❤
How many artists do we analyze? Do we have to re-do a piece from that artist?

@@LiaSophie Okay thank you💗💗
