Me too. I thought I was the only one. I have tried the glue and adhesive. I HATE it. I don't want glue and sticky adhesive stuck to my head. It drives me nuts and I can't, no matter how many tutorials I watch do that whole thing with the fake baby hairs and all that. I just can't. 😪😞. So yes this is the way to go for me too.
I remember years ago when lace wigs became a thing learning that this is the method Beyoncé’s hairdresser used. I have been doing it this way since then and never really got into lace wigs because I like using my natural hairline too.
omgosh I dont like the wig look( lace glued to hairline ) and was so tired of flat ironing my leave out... see one thing about us black girls we gone research until we figure it out 😂😂. LOVE THIS, trying tomorrow when my wig arrives.
@@AmbreReneeI know this has been a while but I just bought my first lace front wig and it is pre-cut pre-bleached pre plucked. Some of that I don't even understand. But is this done the same way with a pre-cut lace front because I have a low hairline and I was thinking why can't the natural access hairline be smooth back where it looks to blend in with the hair on the lace front wig and it looks like you did just that and without the glue. Which is the whole reason I bought a glueless wig. The glue is the reason I have never worn a lace front because I have seen too many women without edges. So again my question to you is can I still achieve this with a pre-cut lace front wig?
Another great install! I saw your first behind the hairline video and that was great. This one was a little more detail regarding getting the perimeter flawless with the cutting. Can't wait to try! Keep the videos coming!
Merry Christmas! I have been experiencing thinning around my edges. I think it's because of the lace. Does the mace wear away at your hair using this method?
This was much needed I’m done with lace
SAME LMAOOO!
I saw some other girl sewed her front down!!
Sammmeeeee
Same.. for now 😂
Literally 😂😂😂
Sooooo glad you said we are not magicians.
This is the only way I can wear it.
That forehead gluing mess with the swoops is a hard no for me.

How I plan to wear my first wig. I knew I'd find someone doing it.
Another suggestion for “big” wigs is you can sew the back tracks together… it’s a great snug fit
I was gonna say I’d rather just sew in the back area so it can stay put because I know for a fact that shit’s gonna slide off lol
Behind the hair is healthier for edges and low hairline
Black woman are truly magic, I didn’t know what I was gonna do with this $20 beauty supply wig
Love It, Beautiful, Blessings 🎉❤
Do they still make silk base closures wigs? That probably would have been a great candidate for this too.
you are so amazing dear , the hair looks so natrual 😉
How good is this hair? Is it HD lace?

Thank you for this! My sister uses lace front wigs as half wigs and I needed to see someone use a lace front wig behind the hairline step by step❤
It's giving perfection & flawless ❤❤
Beautifully and perfectly done❤❤❤
Thank you sis much for this! Omgggg my hair is being seen! Definitely going to get me a wig
Whats holding the front down i didnt see her put any glue on it
Nothing is holding it down. It’s a glueless install
Make sure it fits snug she says
There’s an elastic band holding it snug to her head.
This is so beautiful ❤❤
Beyoncé does this
I was wondering how her wigs look so matural
I was wondering how her wigs look so natural
Very nice
Needed this! ❤❤❤
Ok! You did that!
Love it - cause my hair line is touching my eyebrows lol
Yessss I needed this!
How can I do this for a middle parttttt😩🙁 smb help
would u be able to blend the color of the leave out w/ root touch up spray so they’re the same color?
Yes or pressing powder
I love this. Have you ever done this with Kinky curly hair?
I haven’t 😏
But how do you make sure that the top part of the wig doesn't slip and fall off your head?
how long does the styling foam last?
The elastic band gives it a snug fit
Love it
Awesome video!! I saw your first video on how you installed the wig behind your hairline and both videos are super helpful!!
Did you blend some of the edges from the lace into your leave out or just all of yours? It looks flawless.

will this work if you have kinky hair?
Yes I can’t think of a reason that it wouldn’t, it will probably work better
What did you use for your edges
Hey girl! Where did you buy that time hair straightener? Brand? Love it!😊
Omg I thought I was the first to think of this 😂. I just sitting here thinking about doing this to my hair then say let me check UA-cam

So basically a half wig. I don’t want any hair out but not in love with lace… 😫
Right but the base is flatter without the half wig track
