@victoriar5965 it could be glued around the outside but will still need to be sewn to secure it in the front. I’m sure it’ll take away that natural look if it’s glued across the front.
Hey! So “behind the hairline” just means that you are leaving some of your natural hair out in front of the closure to blend the two together, as opposed to braiding it all down and installing the closure with a frontal/wig look.
19:02 You didn't do to bad of a job on that. Next time try putting the hair in one straight back ponytail, and then cut under the rubberband. It helps when you're cutting really long hair into a bob.
Yea, I’ve been a stylist for 12 years and have been doing this since lace came on the scene. It’s nothing new. I Just love it and have noticed its recently trending again. I’m not a wig girl so I gotta find ways to get the looks I like.
@@RikkiSaLess could you let me know the name of it when you get a chance? I think it would be a perfect match for me. Trying to find shades on wig closures have been a struggle for me
What hairstyles do y’all wanna see? Let me knowww!

Can we just glue the closure?
I mean I guess you can .
Yes you can glue it
@victoriar5965 it could be glued around the outside but will still need to be sewn to secure it in the front. I’m sure it’ll take away that natural look if it’s glued across the front.
@@RikkiSaLess I definitely wouldn’t glue the front with no hair glue. But you still probably could glue the front down like you’ll do a lace
can you show us a half up half down quick weave 💕
I sure can!
Tuned inn love the video ❤

What is the name of all the supplies you used because i’m thinking about doing my own hair for senior pictures!
Gots 2b spray, the protectant is Robert’s diamond bond protective shield. The spray color is tintation color black.
Thank youuuu🩷
❤I have a question? What does behind the hairline mean?
Hey! So “behind the hairline” just means that you are leaving some of your natural hair out in front of the closure to blend the two together, as opposed to braiding it all down and installing the closure with a frontal/wig look.
@@RikkiSaLess gotcha!! I'm thinking about trying a quick weave with 2x6 close!
That’s actually gonna be my next video. ! ❤️
What hair did you use ?? Would you highly recommend them?
The closure was from the hair store. The hair is a bunch of unused scrap hair I had.
You really did that! Ima go and attempt this! lol
19:02 You didn't do to bad of a job on that.
Next time try putting the hair in one straight back ponytail, and then cut under the rubberband. It helps when you're cutting really long hair into a bob.
Idk why I didn’t think of that! Yes! Will do next time. Thank you.
did you bleach the knots on your closure ?
Hey! No I didn’t, I kinda wanted it to look thick and dark.
Where did you get the clippers? I’m about to attempt this😣
Heyy! I got them from the local beauty supply or you can do Amazon. They are called “peanuts”
Did you use a 2x6 closure or 4x6
It was either 4x6 or 4x4. It was store bought so more than likely a 4x4.
Hey girl, did you bleach the knots ?
Hey love! No I didn’t. It was a store bought HD lace closure. Just plucked that’s it.
I can’t braid my own hair. But I can flat twist instead. Would that get the job done for the sew in part?
As long as it’s flat and you let the shield get hard yes I think it could work!
Yes honey!!!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I've been doing this for 3 years only thing is I make a wig I can take on and off
Yea, I’ve been a stylist for 12 years and have been doing this since lace came on the scene. It’s nothing new. I Just love it and have noticed its recently trending again. I’m not a wig girl so I gotta find ways to get the looks I like.
What shade is the concealer you used for the part and the brand?
I just use the one I use on my face. It’s the by the brand Nars. I don’t remember the color.
@@RikkiSaLess could you let me know the name of it when you get a chance? I think it would be a perfect match for me. Trying to find shades on wig closures have been a struggle for me
I got you! The shade is called Sucre D’orge . It’s the one in the tube like a lipgloss, not the dip pot one.
You did that
Thank you!
Can you do a lace front wig behind the hairline? Is that even possible? lol
Yes it’s Very possible! And probably easier than this. But with that I think the wig needs to be kind of a snug fit.!!
Yes if u have a nice and full hairline
Would this work with a natural body wave?
Yes I think it could work on any hair and any texture.
