DJ SOOOOULFORCE! What's up brother?! Yeah, I've actually started to take a liking to these 'selfie' quads; good for when I'm hanging out with my girls. Thanks for stopping by.
What’s up Jose!? Man it is and I remember how happy I was when I got 100 subs then 300. I don’t think I thought it would grow this much but I’m grateful that it has. I enjoy making videos as much as I like flying. Perfect combo for me. Thanks for hanging with me bro, I appreciate you.
I was hoping you would review this, and I can't wait for your head to head video against the Tello. I thought the onboard memory would help it not have dropped frames like the Tello. So you to choose between either dropped frames or no EIS on your video when deciding between the two selfie quads. The photo's are much better on the Tello. So version two of the Tello with onboard memory or the version two of the MITU with EIS are worth waiting for I guess. Great review G.I., and Western Michigan is looking beautiful at the end of May. Take one of your good camera birds out and get us some nice footage of all those green tree's, rivers and lakes.
Hey Ron. If the best features from each were combined it would be a darn good little drone. I was trying to get out this morning to fly but got tied up with other stuff. I'm going to see if I can go for a ride with the fam and put the P4 and the BB2 up. Maybe try to catch the sunset. If so, I'll definitely share.
Combing the two would make for a good selfie drone. Or that H216 you reviewed sometime back (there was still snow on the ground) might be the best selfie drone of the three, I think it was around the same price as the Tello and MITU drone. Good luck on your sunset video, you should do well, your taking the real camera birds with you. Happy Memorial Day to you and your family.
Pretty good review. I picked up the Wingsland S6 about a month ago and I believe it has both this drone and the Tello beat. I was able to get it 90 meters high in my back yard (Chicago metro area) and the 13 megapixel camera has outstanding quality. It's only problem is the battery which gives about 5-7 minutes flight time. It was quite expensive when it came out but I was able to pick it up for $117.
good job, when you tested the Tello in the wind at the parking lot it fought the wind real good, when you do the side by side maybe you can do it with some wind
Hey Edgar. That's a good idea. I'll have to try to catch a windy day. I suspect that the MITU won't do as well as the Tello, but it will definitely be fun to test it out.
Wow mate, excellent video. As usual, you have covered all the bases and made it simple for us to get a handle on this cute little drone. I have the Xiaomi Mi Drone 4K, and Phantom 4 Pro+. I find both excellent for what they were designed for. The MITU may be great for beginners and kids. I think I will buy one so the whole family can enjoy drone flying. Thanks mate.
Hello there. Yep, this one is definitely more in the toy grade class, but you hit the nail right on the head. It's good for just having fun with the family without much worry. Sounds like you have two of the best drones for aerial video and photos. Thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate that.
Very nice review. My thoughts, the app for the MITU seems to have a better UI, the app for the Tello allows for some preset quick shots, I still have no clue what the Yo-Yo is supposed to do for you. I agree, the drop in the recording is giving the MITU a slight edge over the Tello for video recording. The battery seemed to go pretty quick on the MITU, with the Tello only giving an actual minute maybe two over the MITU. I am really looking forward to the comparison video. I am only slightly biased, but so far, I am giving a slight edge to the Tello. If we were closer, Ohio here, I would bring my Tello, and you bring the MITU, and we could have a MITU vs Tello battle. Seriously, keep up the great work my friend.
What's up Dan?! Yep, there are quite a few things to compare and contrast between the two. I'll put them head to head and try to break it down by feature and/or function and we'll see which one comes out on top. I agree that the Tello is just a bit better, but the MITU is $20 cheaper and the video doesn't skip, so it's a good alternative. What part of Ohio are you in again? I'm in the Cleveland area from time to time.
I am about 3 hours south of Cleveland, near the Ohio-WV border. I will take the Tello to work tomorrow, and if it is a slow day, I will try and get the very best footage that I can with it, and throw something together. The $20 dollar price difference could open the door for an entry level quadcopter, and allow someone that may not even try to fly a chance, the MITU would be an awesome starter drone, with stability, ease of use, for a beginner. I am pondering my next step up. I am leaning toward the Mavic Pro, but am very interested to see what the next few months open up. Technology is getting cheaper, and entry level drones are getting better technology. Anyway, keep up the good work my friend.
Hey thanks for the feedback, I appreciate that. Yep, I got my license last year. I have been meaning to put together a video explaining how I passed, but never got around to it.
I am using it on Xperia xa1 and it cannot find the drone via Wifi. I tried even in flight mode, restarting phone and stil doesn't work. Does anybody know where is the problem ?
Hey Arnie! Thanks for stopping by. Thank you sir and you have a blessed Memorial weekend as well. I didn't serve but I have lots of family that did and are currently active military.
Ronit, you could try this one: www.gearbest.com/video-game/pp_257790.html?wid=1433363&lkid=14685343. I assume you are in Israel; does gearbest or banggood ship there? I took 3-years of Greek but never got to Hebrew which I thoroughly regret.
Oh really? Ryze won't make another version? That's a mistake I think because of how popular the Tello has been. Polarizing, but popular. Maybe they'll release something else to build off of it. I'm with you, I think a second iteration should be released.
Now that is an interesting take. I hadn't considered that. Well, one thing is for sure, as long as there's a viable drone market we'll keep seeing innovations like the Tello and advancements either from DJI or some other company. That's what makes this such a fun hobby.

BTW, did you fly it with Bluetooth controller?
I haven't yet, but I'll include that in the comparison vid against the Tello.
Great vids. Your channel has taken off. Over 5000 subs.. super proud of you.. keep it goin :-)

Did you try the transmitter bluetooth ??
I haven't tried it out yet. I will when I get a chance.

I always wanted to try out that S6 but it got mixed reviews and was a little expensive for me. I think what you paid for it is more reasonable.

You do a great job showing the set up and flight!!!! GREAT CHANNEL!!
👍😀👍
Thanks and as always thanks for watching.

O wi-fi dele é 5g?
I agree with you about the sticks 👍❗ awesomely good up close flight footage too!
This is a good little quad to break out when I'm hanging out with my girls.
Do you know where I can find the English version of the android app?
Try Googling it.
@@GadgetInspector found it thanks for your help...
Looks to be nice and clear video, Great review brother. God bless
Thank you sir.
I really enjoy all of your videos. Do you have your Part 107 licenses? I hope to test for mine this fall.
Hey thanks for the feedback, I appreciate that. Yep, I got my license last year. I have been meaning to put together a video explaining how I passed, but never got around to it.
Kuat berapa menit pak. Terbangnya. dengan baterai full?
I am using it on Xperia xa1 and it cannot find the drone via Wifi. I tried even in flight mode, restarting phone and stil doesn't work. Does anybody know where is the problem ?
The drone uses a 5G wifi feed so you'll need to find out whether your phone can accommodate 5G. That may be why you can't connect.
Very good review GI, I like this quad.
Hey Gregory. Yeah I think this is a good one.
Hello can u get bigger battery 4 it.
Psv 48PH Sorry, only one size battery is available.
Gadget Inspector thank you hello fr uk

thank u very much
u have an amazing chanel
Thanks!
Looks like a nice flyer. Best would maybe be a mix of the tello and the mitu. Tello's EIS and DJI/Intel technology and mitu's onboard memory.
I agree, I was thinking the same thing.
Gadget Inspector, I still hope for a Tello 2, maybe this time produced 100% by DJI as Ryze said that they will not make a 2nd version.
Oh really? Ryze won't make another version? That's a mistake I think because of how popular the Tello has been. Polarizing, but popular. Maybe they'll release something else to build off of it. I'm with you, I think a second iteration should be released.
Heres a link about an answer from Ryze, but for me it leaves the option of DJI producing it open!

again nice review 👍👍😎👍👍🔥👍👍
Where do you get spare batteries?
The only place I have seen them is geekbuying.com so far: shrsl.com/z00l
When the Tello is charged it just turn solid blue without the flashing
Very nice review thanks so much
You got it Rick, thanks for watching!
Gadget Inspector! This is OK.... but if you want awesomeness get the TELLO!
Hey I bought the product because of you, but I can not get in with the password, I'd be happy if you could help me. Thank you very much.
A really good explanation
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Nice review and testing
Thanks. Thanks for watching as well.
*Check out a head to head comparison with the Tello:* ua-cam.com/video/0f5pD_yAmlI/v-deo.html
Why can’t these companies just put a 5 dollar controller in and charge 5 dollars more.
Dunno.
I'm kinda mad I bought that controller for the Tello because I never use it. I've gotten used to flying with my phone. No biggie for me.
very good video
Thank you sir and thanks for watching!
Gracias por el vídeo y el sustituido en español
De nada. Espero hacer esto para todos mis videos en el futuro.
Gadget Inspector buena idea
I like it too 😎
nice one bro!
What's up birdman?! Thanks for stopping by bro.
I am first like and comment
Awesome! You are officially in the #ginotificationsquad #ginotisqaud.
Gadget Inspector what
Tello is far better with a good clear camera this thing sucks in picture quality
Ok, but tell me how you really feel about it....lol.
Stile is over, 👎👎👎
