Not only did JESUS CHRIST save me from that demon, but also showed me how low my Magnesium levels were! Now I also take a Magnesium Citrate Supplement!!! You can also research it!!! I love your profile name. I suffered with OCD (Scrupulosity) for about 6 years but I concluded that I would rather suffer with Jesus than take meds to block it all out. The bondage breaker helped me. It is very important to know that the trials are not unique to us!

Ask in the name of Jesus, and it will be done, if it is GOD's will. It might not be the right time, or you might be an asshole (I can't know). If you are sinning against people, or you can't let go of what people did, when it was none of your business, then you need to change who you are. Rethink what you do (Galatians 5 Fruits of the spirit help, and fruits of sin hinder, and will even dig you a nice hole to die in. Fruits of sin pushes away the Holy Spirit.)
As GOD once said, "Come closer to me, and I'll come closer to you."
If you have been baptized and are a good christian, then you can push off demons by prayer. If you know any good Christians, then get them to pray with you.
Hearing the word will increase your faith. Demonstrating it will increase your strength of spirit, and push out evil.

@Mary Titus You don't earn it. GOD does it because HE loves you. Ask in the name of Jesus too. You have to free-will let go of whatever is keeping you down (if anything).
Pray. Just ask. Don't depend on Christians. They don't grant salvation. Most fo them are fake anyway.
Mary Titus if you were indeed delivering yourself then you would not be asking how to get delivered. Is it possible that you have hardened your hear towards God?

At first I thought this was a whitewashed version of spiritual warfare, but then I watched a couple of his other videos and felt he was right on. Sometimes we have to watch a few videos on a person and their content to get a full understanding.
I am a charismatic believer but did my masters in theology in a Campus Crusade for Christ seminary. There the manual of Freedom in Christ by N Anderson was used. It is a mix of healing therapy, deliverance (casting demons) tool n a declaration (Word) text. So it is good that conservative evangelicals also have a spiritual warfare manual.
Dr Anderson has written at least 3 best-seller books on these related topics and they cover different aspects of our spiritual battles in this life, just as his You Tube talks seem to have slightly different focuses, but these different approaches to the spiritual battle issue, together bring a fuller understanding.

Rose K - Thank you for the wisdom... I love the Bible in my heart. My flesh, just doesn’t seem to agree. I believe it’s the leviathan spirit, which can help deter you from the word? So I’ve prayed and promised, even if it’s one word at a time, I will learn the Bible. Honestly, it’s not easy though, the evil of this world brings up every single thing I’m ashamed of, pulling my attention from the Bible. I’m 38, ex military, ex catholic, ex alcoholic, ex egocentric assxxxx; so the enemy I now face has a lot to use. I try to repent for each sin, as I catch my mind wondering off in their direction, but I attest; I never had these thoughts till I started reading or listening to the word. So in a way, I’m kind of glad I get attacked, reinforces the path I’ve chosen and keeps my will strong.
Michael Joseph if you have been saved and repented of your sins already; then I would suggest a baptism in the spirit and attend a church and try listening too the Bible. Some people hear it easier than reading it. It sounds like you have the right heart.
The 7 steps should be taught ti EVERY new believer .

I was crying one day at work; a young man asked me "why are you crying" so I told him. He said, "let me apologize for all us husbands in the world that break our wives hearts". I never forgot that young man, and pray for him whenever he comes to my mind. I know someday I will meet him in heaven along with other people that have blessed me. Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!
You will only see him.if his name is in the lambs book of life. Please do not equate a kind gesture with salvation. Was his statement followed up by a conversation about jesus? There are kind UNSAVED people, so pray for his salvation unless you know him to be saved.

I went through a very dark time years ago, in which I know the Lord led me in to, because of my stiff necked pride. Anyway, I was broken and had come back to the Lord. One night I was going to go into a church meeting. I heard a voice say, nobody loves me. I repeated it out loud and started bawling. It was the first time I stopped and recognized that the voice was not my own. It was life changing.
Wow I came to watch your videos to get rid of my demons. Even though I've watch other videos where you talk about similar analogies it never really hit me what you really meant till watching this video. These demons are always going to be around trying to grab my attention and tempted me. So what I really should be doing is not giving them any time of day and keep my eyes on the bigger picture (Christ). Thank you!
They want you to focus your attention on them, just ignore and focus on The Word. Jesus is the the Word.

AMEN! I have always felt this ministry of deliverance has been missing from our churches and lives and we have been fighting with our hands tied not walking in the freedom victory and power that Jesus said we would. He said we would do GREATER things than He did. I received deliverance ministry last month and for the first time, the torment INSIDE has stopped. The I have a lot of relearning and healing and restoration to go since I have also been in a marriage of neglect, control, abuse for 20 years so a lot of condemnation, oppression, fear and torment came through my husband, but I feel free of the tormenting voices inside. I am learning to walk all over again and to fill my inside with Gods truth now. Battle with the Sword of the Spirit and spending time in green pastures and by still waters with my Father.

I never knew I could be free til Niel Anderson. Years of sitting in churches that don't preach deliverance . and I was tormented for yrs and years to end my life.and cycles of trama n more trama . Mary Casper I believe that we grow further when life is at its hardest. My suggestion is when you go to the memory of your hurt, focus on helping someone that is worse off than yourself. Sometimes deep down we don’t want to forget the hurt because we get something from it. In my humble opinion.

Repent and GOD will forgive you you are family. We have Christ. First look at your social network use. Reduce it. Start reading interesting accounts in the Bible. Like how Jezebel was destroyed. And how her wickedness lead to her downfall. Read about how Jesus healed. Read the book of Matthew. Then read Isaiah. Enjoy this walk. Don’t over watch UA-cam videos. Join a church. Enjoy this walk. It’s a walk. You will make it. Pray. Just talk to God. He knows your heart. Don’t pray to be heard pray to be healed. Be honest. Have a relationship with Jesus Christ. He loves us.

Use praise music. Read Psalm 103 and repeat "I bless you Lord Jesus", " I bless you Heavenly Father". Read Psalm 149 n 150. Praise psalm. Read Psalm 23,91 and 121. Protection Psalms. Recite the Lord's prayer and forgive and bless your offenders.

Wonderful teaching, Dr. Anderson! I have found great relief from negative (demonic ) thoughts by immediately speaking aloud things like "Thank-you, Jesus", "Praise God", while thinking, " yes, I screwed up there, but the bad thing that might have happened due to my sin, carelessness. did NOT happen, or God made it right, in some way. " The devil hates hearing us speak praises and thanks to God, and so, leaves pretty quickly. If I'm alone, I might also say , "I bind you, in Jesus's Name", or even just "Leave me alone!"
A great verse to memorize, and speak aloud, also is II Timothy 1:7. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind".
The Word that comes to mind as you described the focus we should have is "proactive": not falling into legalism, but obeying God out of gratitude, wanting to help others, rather than revolving our lives around our addictions and fears. I spent way too much of my life like that! Teachings such as yours, Dr. Anderson, and many others, have helped to lift me up from a very deep pit! Thank-you!
Holy Spirit brought this video to my attention. My son hears voices which did not respond to antipsychotics. Those “treatments” took away his mind and worsened his condition. We are now weaning off meds. Listening to your video is answering many questions and explains these thoughts that are not from God as well as tells us the remedy. Bless your ministry of Truth.

Regarding Panic disorder, I have personally seen people healed through the simple act of labeling each and every symptom, recognizing that they are not life threatening and learning to simply wait it out. By doing so, you remove your participation in the escalation of the disorder, which is a catch 22, or a snowball. Of course bring the Lord into this process would be wonderful.
This is so true. The only thing that can completely deliver from these demonic voices is the Lord Jesus Christ! As the scriptures say, "And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’"

Give them in a prayer completely to Jesus. And forgive just everyone and repent of every single sin you did. Darkness will leave if you do so.
although the previous comment definiately is not wrong, I do want to emphasize that some people dealing with severe problems, like trauma etc might not simply be freed by a few steps. often they will need trauma therapy,ideally by aa christian therapist, and a biblical church with sound scriptural doctrine. 😊 I found that the devil hates us being together with other christians and will try everything to isolate or enstrange people from other christians. But, when dealing with severe trauma, even in biblical churches, not everyone might be 'safe' to talk to. Not because people are somehow bad!, but because some topics are very sensitive and you might want to share them only with people you know you can really trust. I also would encourage to really not do it alone, if possible find people (christians) who can journey sometimes you. The battle is hard 🙏🏻 and often (I will not speak for everyone of course! 😊 for I have seen many many testimonies of people being freed rather quickly!) it could take more than a short while. But please do not think I know it all! God is Almighty and powerful and I would never want to discourage anyone, but rather to encourage anyone thinking "why is is taking so long/not working" or things like that 😊 God bless you!! And I am very sorry if I stated anything wrong/unbiblical here!!

However, thank you for explaining that we can't endlessly fight thoughts that are negative... That all our time would be consumed doing this.... So how my life feels like you. You think you are being honourable fighting this way but really its achieving only exhaustion and misery not what God wants for us at all.
Now have found announcing God's Names and His taught prayers, claiming who I am in God over myself and putting on the armour of God makes such a difference.

Around 35:00 he illustrates the idea of stepping out of the darkness into the light and putting on the armor of faith which widens the path. I don't agree if that idea, I think if you ignore and march forward, you in a way "desensitize" those ideas/battles, which then widens the path; meaning your not walking that narrow path anymore. Any thoughts on this?
What's the steps to freedom in Christ
What happens when you have a sick child and your heart is broken each day. I dk how to deal with it . I know God is in control and that Christ is the word made flesh but I am still broken and I dont really know what to do

Mr. Anderson, your explanation of the matrix being your imagination seems to be of a natural mind set.
As Father opened a look into the spirit realm to me , while sitting in my chair at home, my Spirit left my body, went to a friends house in the next town over. I could see the demons flowing from one person to another, a husband and wife combo. She would have bible study at her house. Her husband went to town during that. The demons left with him. She was just fine with us at the meeting and then later she would freak out. Scream in paim etc.
The lesson was on the husband and wife covenant and being one.
When I was reading about John announcing the Lamb of God, I was standing on a sand bar watching it all go down.

I'm on medication for bipolar. Are you telling me I have a demon. There is already too much stigma in the church already about mental illness. Doesn't this add to it? pblonrongracie I am on Seroquel. Without it, I am a different and ugly person. I tend to look at my condition as my “ thorn in the flesh” because the Lord has not taken it away. I do not believe at all that it’s a demon. But we live in broken bodies and one day I will be set free. But until then I do what I have to do ( take my meds) to stay whole. Be encouraged, my friend. We are not crazy, just broke and the Great Fixer will take care of us soon.
