Amazing!! Unfortunately, practicing without a partner is a little bit difficult.

Thanks for your very helpful videos, I have followed them and the practice is getting better and better. I have a question that I hope you can help, when I move to the "back-lock" step, my hip is often separated, not connect with the follower' hip. So, is it necessary for leader to twist their hip for connecting with follower' hip in this step...? I feel that, when I try to twist my body for connecting the hip, it will make me difficult to move smoothly and keep up with the music...I look forward to hearing from you soon. Many thanks from Viet Nam 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💕💖💞💕💞💕💖💖💖🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳

Old people like me aren't as graceful, but we love to waltz. Any recommendation?

This " check" means oversway ?

      Hi!
      No it’s a Contra Check
This is the Oversway (well it develops from that into a Throwaway Oversway)

I also know and have read the ISTD Syllabus Bronze, so for the Basic Routine, you CAN replace the Natural Spin Turn with the Outside Spin. The Outside Spin is like the Natural Spin Turn -- it is similar to the Spin Turn - but the spin is preceded by the OP step and then the spin. Then follow with 4-6 of Reverse Turn - and it will be still a keen Bronze (or Basic) Routine.

I know that Walter Laird put the "T" in Latin Technique in ISTD, but I know that Waltz is not Latin - it is International Standard, so Alex Moore is king of ISTD Standard Technique. I know that in Waltz, basically you rise on 1, keep rising up on 2, and then you lower at the end of 3. Also, Moore's mentality on waltz footwork - generally because of the rise and fall, you have the heel-toe/toe/toe-heel in some of the basic steps, including 1-3 of the Reverse Turn, and 1-3 of the Natural Turn. (I am talking generally about the lead's steps.)

Hi! I have been so curious about the proper counting of Waltz, Tango, Quickstep.
