"We all know that a draughty home is extremely uncomfortable to live in. Uncontrolled air flow in your home is often responsible for a significant part of your energy costs because of the amount of energy you use trying to keep your home comfortable.
In the winter time, uncontrolled ventilation is letting your cold air in from outside, meanwhile, expensive heating is continuously leaking out through all these unsealed areas, increasing your energy use and costing you a fortune.
In summertime, it's the other way around. The cool air from inside of your home is exchange with the hot air from outside, and if you have an air conditioner, it will be working overtime as your expensive cooling escapes from these areas.
Often householders are concerned that reducing draught will make their home stuffy and filled with stale air. Draught is "uncontrolled ventilation", ventilating your home is still important, and being able to control when and how much to ventilate is what makes such a difference to the comfort and energy use.
Many households with these concerns have attempted to stop draughts by using poor quality solutions, such as, door snakes which easily push aside, or perhaps you've tried the ordinary adhesive foams that make it difficult to open and close the doors and quickly lose their stickiness and deteriorate into a sticky mess. I've even met people who use a pillow to stop draught from entering via their chimney.
At ecoMaster we've carefully assembled a collection of professional quality draught proofing solutions that include a comprehensive range of draught excluders, architectural perimeter seals for windows and doors, gaps and cracks solutions, fireplace treatments and exhaust fan seals.
So not only do we provide solutions that last the lifetime of your home, our solutions are designed to integrate with the look of your home while allowing your doors and windows, ceiling fans and fireplaces to operate just as they did before.
When you protect your home from unnecessary draught, you'll enjoy a much more comfortable home, that is cheaper to run and better for the environment too."
