Alizay’s story is just like a copy of my life. From strong independent girl to a helpless person stuck in an unkind relationship only because I now have a child. All these years and I still can’t work out what my husband wants
This drama is a must watch for every girl.. many men are not like this but whenever they are, and both the families normalise his behaviour, the wife gets in self doubt and accepts the mental abuse. She doesn't even realise till she is stuck too deep to get out of it. It is correctly portrayed, sometimes the man is an angel and if he sees something he doesn't approve of.. BAM! He changes into this rude aggressive stubborn, difficult and unreasonable person who is dominating. And she is right, you do get scared when you confront a narcissist
Sherry is just like my Ex Husband and i took divorce from Him. Hats off to Durefishan Saleem for picking up the story that is so relatable to so many women belonging to our society.

That sleep deprivation and unnecessary suspension was on point. Its narcissists number 1 tactic. They sleep deprive you to torture you then in the morning they act like nothing happened to escape from accountability. Its real dementia. Normal person needs to process after an argument but narc just forget about it like nothing happened.

very realistic portrayal of some of the relationship dynamics with a narcissist. The worst part is no-one going to believe the victim's truth. Because the narcissists present themselves so good and always ready to help and care for other people to show off and look better. The victim's sufferings are doubled.

This drama gives me goosebumps. After marriage torture doesn’t have to be physical...mental torture is even worse. Marriage is equal between two individuals. Y don’t people accept this. To make a marriage work...a girl has to adjust ,compromise,tolerate,ignore even to the extent of losing ones own identity. But this is one life n it’s NOT worth it. I will not want my daughter to live such a life!!! Alizey.....I just love ur character n the dialogue with ur mom at the end was Very insightful! Director....take a bow !

Such a great script and excellent acting by Mikaal as the bipolar and narcissistic husband. Durre plays her part beautifully as the downtrodden wife who thought she married an open minded man. Alizey introduced a new term majboor aurat syndrome! 😅 Well done to all for such an amazing drama with great messages to our society 👏👏
