    Am I right to say that 10 hours worth (In terms of fossil fuel used to generate) of electricity will eventually be offset by the durability of the chair plus of course the amount of waste plastic reused?

    But isn't this technology just using the lids of the plastic bottles which anyway been reused for long?

      Not necessarily.. About 90% of all waste worldwide ends up in a landfill or is inappropriately discarded.. It's often cheaper to use virgin plastic in manufacturing as opposed to using recyclable plastic.
