When you ask a guitarist who is the one that made them pick up a guitar, most will give you the standard list of EVH, Page, Hendrix, etc. This guy is the one who made me want a guitar. No question. His playing was so precise, fast, accurate and very musical. He can get as heavy as hell then go into something very light. A master for sure.
George was a huge influence on me as well. And is still inspiring me. It's such an honor to be able to spend time with him and just talk guitar! Thank you for watching!
George is a beast! The other cats you mentioned were some of my biggest influences (add UFO era Schenker in there) but have always been in awe of George and glad to see him still chugging along.
Melodic and Soulful...One of the Greats
This guy is really at peace with himself and where he's at in life. Just saw him last Saturday in Mt Clemens Mi and he was incredible, and high energy.
Yes, incredibly at peace with it, and still enjoying himself.
What a normal guy for a true guitar star I've just been introduced to. I think he's my new favorite. Really creative player, and humble.
He is very down to Earth and humble. Continues to work hard at both his crafts (playing and building guitars), and still finds time to go camping with his wife of 20 or more years.
George has been my favorite player from the first time I saw & heard Breaking the Chains on MTV when I was 15 & had been playing guitar for a few years at that point! I knew I had to learn how to play a guitar the way he does! I’ve been blessed to have met & hung out with George a few times over the years & he’s such a hilarious humble cool guy!
Still looking great Man!
Thank~You for all
the joy you've given us! 💗
I was listening to George, what a amazing player, and seems like a cool, laid back guy.
He is very laid back. Very much at peace with where his (or all of our, right?) style of music is today in the grand scheme of the music industry.
1:50 The guy in front of the stage, moves and jumps around like SEBASTIAN BACH, I think!
One of the best right here!.Mr lynch!!
True living legend shredder n all around guitar player,.. Mr scary ur in mind the last of the guitar gods
Very interesting interview. He's sure mellowed. Seems chill and over focusing on being a Rock Star.
Who's in his band now?
Could you turn down the music during the interview? It's distracting and hard to hear you, Adam
👍🤟
Thanks for watching Pat! How you been? I am working on the volumes... At this point, George just seems to have a revolving cast of band members, especially on lead vox. You never know who you'll see on drums, bass, or vox when you go see him, but they're all (usually) good players. He seems pretty relaxed about his role of rock star, not really very concerned about it at all...
Dion Tillman here,WHOA,,he's playing the shit out of the less Paul,,❤❤
That Geralt of Rivia slays at guitar.
My thoughts exactly😂
George is a seriously talented and intelligent guy.
Enjoyed the interview but the background music was competing too much volume wise
Yep, it was super distracting. I did enjoy the interview despite that, though.
Great work Adam ! Hope to see you soon. Tris
Thanks Tris. Sorry so slow to reply. I hope you're well, and still shredding on guitar like Lezli tells me you are!
@@adamsj2007 Still at it ! until we die right???? Hope to see you soon ! t.
When you ask a guitarist who is the one that made them pick up a guitar, most will give you the standard list of EVH, Page, Hendrix, etc. But George almost made you sell it!
Silver fox cool.... don't start doing that manbun yoga crap..lol
