Dambulu gale - Chitral version

This perennnial favourite was given a new life by Chitral Somapala with his own interpretation. The music track for this was provided by virtuoso musician Nadish Jayasuriya who has his own YouTubb Channel you must view.. My brother Nihal is based in Wellington NZ and I am in Manchester UK, The whole exercise was done through emails and Nihal expertly joined everything together and I made a video here adding my visuals and images. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did producing it.

A fantastic rendition of a classic from a great artiste from Sri Lanka, which brings back wonderful memories from our childhood and teen years. Mahen sings it with great love and sincerity against a backdrop of the Dambulla gale giving it a tremendous atmosphere. It is great that these lovely songs are immortalised by other great singers like Mahen so that we never forget contributions from great artistes of all time.
