The Zip Water Faucet always brings in a lot of attention. Yes, it's a simple unit, but it's very practical and a great addition to any kitchen. Today, Trevor is going to talk more about the Zip Water Unit and show you how the electronics work. What does this faucet actually do? And why is it so expensive! So what this guy does, is it gives us instant different types of water.
Boiling- this is probably the best feature of the product and the most sought after, it literally takes seconds before you have water over 200 degrees.
Sparkling- there is another CO2 tank down below that allows for sparkling water as well.
Cold Filtered Water- This one is super simple, but instantly cold, and filtered for good drinking water.
You can also install it as a separate sink or as the main all in one with city water as well. Only downside is it does take up a bit of space in your cabinet

I like this guy, it’s like he’s just having a normal conversation.
Thanks
Just built my house, have a normal tap then in the butlers kitchen, we have this all in one tap because we love sparkling water and also don't need a kettle.
We paid $4,000 for it on special from Appliances online.
nice
This is super popular in a commercial area, like in an office floor with 50 people, you don't want to be waiting for kettles to boil or filling valuable fridge space with water bottles, this does everything instantly. It's nearly a must have here in Australian offices, but yes definitely a luxury for a home.
Remember me when one of its parts breaks and you can't use your sink until you have a professional that knows the product come out and replace it for you. Yall are paying $5,000 for a gimmick. Have fun replacing multiple Heating and Cooling elements when they corrode.
Thanks for watching!
The all-in-one units have a pass through for unfiltered water
You can easily get small under sink units for less than half the price of this thing
intresting
where?
Insinkerator is the biggest name that comes to mind, but there are many more manufacturers
@@justinrogers4465 I know they make them for instant hot water, but I'm looking for something that does sparkling water.
I think overall from my perceptions are smart technology and major factor is sustainability. I invested in such important feature for my new kitchen is because clean-water market became vigorously catchy and poor technology.
75 years old of market legend record that still so capable until todate. It considerated a moving tech, innovative technology that indirectly helping user to save even more money for boiling, water, electricity etc. Over 10 years period of time, how much water we have wasted, unused boiled water just dispensed unknowingly. HENCE, it didnt really help our environment, climate improvement, excessive electricity etc all these does impact our daily life. In short, this water provided highest micron filter healthy drinking water than buying years of instant water bottles.
Thanks for your input! Glad you liked the video.
Does it add minerals to the water? Reverse osmosis?
I am willing to pay 6k if it filters heavy metals, fluoride etc and then add minerals to the water and then sparkling
It does filter but I think just regular filter
Can't wait to get one. We are building a house and have a spot set aside for this. What are the lead times on them?
I'm not entirely sure, im the social media person I dont have a tab on things like that. If you call in the sales people know.
Wonderful video. Thank you so much for your straightforward presentation.
thanks!
There’s nothing like cool, clean water!!!!!
Ha yes
Shoulda retook the video with the sparkling water running right
Yeah we kept tweaking the CO2 cart
From what I've heard that's just how this thing dispenses sparkling. I don't think it's possible to get a consistent stream.
@@swrobel It has been a challanege to ge ta solid stream. The sparkling water is fine it just comes out of the faucet kind of weird depending how the CO2 is set up.
can you use your own co2 canisters? ie can the regulator be used for standard co2 cans? The zip website is showing 200$ for a refill tank....
that I am not sure of
Does it add sparkles to the tap water?
Yes
Thanks for the video. Is the zip water unit noisy?
a little but only when you run it
What about just warm water ?
you can get that out of the faucet
I
Want
One
Nice!
God's way of telling you that you have too much money ;-)
🤣
ok
Same as instahot from insinkerator? Except I guess not co2
I am not familiar with those
the same yet not the same lol
Looks like he fast forwarded to the pulsating mess it makes when producing sparkling water. This machine is garbage. Not worth the money whatsoever. It's loud and bulky too
You have to get the CO2 right. We still use this one thats installed all the time.
@@emberslivinghi there
We have just installed one it makes quite a noise when In use is that normal?
Should be able to get that for 3-4k... and yes they are worth it.
yeah its awesome
What about children burning themselves on that boiling water. Is there any safety features for that?
There is, you have to triple tap it
he clearly said there was
