    I think this is an important topic so thank you for covering.
    I hate the comments (they are everywhere btw) asking “why didn’t she just leave?”.. ”why didn’t her husband make her leave?”.. ”she has plenty of money”… etc etc. What if she wanted to do this because she was passionate about the role? And is it so much to ask to be treated with dignity and respect? From a sociocultural perspective, I hope we can get to a place of asking why HE didn’t leave. Anyone in the modern workplace knows it’ll just happen again and again at the next job(s).

    Aww, Mel! I hope your daughter is feeling better! I had a tonsillectomy at age 28, and it was so so so unpleasant. I had to get steroid shots in my throat after 3-4 days as I was so swollen they were concerned my throat was going to close- following the shots, I was so much better. Pain decreased substantially. And the liquid pain meds can burn if you get the ‘wrong’ one (suspension vs syrup due to the mixture it’s made with). I hope she’s feeling better sooner than later!!

    For the record, showing NUDITY to a subordinate at work, childbirth or not, on-topic or not, is NEVER okay. It's nudity. It has no creative influence on the actor, who's capable of performing the scene w/o watching your wife's birthing video.

    • @ICU-r4b
      @ICU-r4b 15 днів тому +4

      You don’t know this to be true just because Blake said it does not mean it’s true. Blakes husband was on the set and also Justin’s wife was on the set.

    • @ThatRedhedd
      @ThatRedhedd 15 днів тому +1

      @JYT-n7c Who was or wasn't on set isn't relevant. He obviously said he didn't think it was a big deal, so he would've done it in front of his wife and her husband. I trust Ryan was a witness and will testify to it, as will Blake. I have no reason not to believe her - considering the overwhelming evidence, witnesses, & receipts she has that back up her claims.

    • @PNZ73
      @PNZ73 15 днів тому +4

      This was a childbirth scene. What is normal to discuss and view while filming a labor and delivery scene is completely different than what would be normal filming a flower arranging scene. Blake is spinning everything to paint Justin in worst possible light. BL & RR are the most powerful couple in Hollywood. You really think they would put up w/ type of harassment she is now claiming - AFTER filming is done? Movie is a huge hit & BL/RR desperately want to get control of the rights to the sequel. The motive for legal action and the leaks to the NYT is obvious.

    • @ThatRedhedd
      @ThatRedhedd 14 днів тому +1

      @PNZ73 You must work for Justin's PR manipulator. The text messages speak for themselves - we believe Ms. Lively. I believe she had to wait to report this because the movie was important to her. However, she didn't wait to address it - she made them sign/agree to a corrective action plan before returning to set after the shutdown.

    • @ThatRedhedd
      @ThatRedhedd 14 днів тому

      @PNZ73 There is no legal action - this isn't a legal filing. Also, you're wrong for saying it's appropriate to assault your subordinate's eyes at work with a video of your wife's vag (unsolicited). Just like it's never OK to send unsolicited dic pics - same thing.
      Since this report to the ethics board has nothing to do with movie rights, it's not reasonable to believe the motivation for it was to get the rights to the sequel. That's not a possible result of this.

My opinion was based solely on what came out at the trial, especially Amber Heard’s own words in testimony. Also Meghan Markle has been saying for years that this is what’s going on with her. Things being planted in social media and British Tabloids saying nasty things about her. People have mocked her about exposing this behavior. But we see laid bare just how these things really go on behind the scenes. The same with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s campaign of hate against him. They were together 8 years before getting married. A bartender in the French Quarter told me Angelina would come in every night and drink and shoot up heroin (which I believe because I’ve seen used syringes in Jackson Square) until 3 or 4. They’d only see Brad with the kids, when he jogged, or came to get her. She better be careful. If someone gave out that information for free (and there’s stories about a lot of celebrities there), imagine what the staff would say for a free trip to California. if the men overstepped her boundaries, Blake has the entire Hollywood machine to set them straight the first time
    but no, she went had a meeting, filmed the whole movie where they allegedly overstepped the same boundaries again
    if Blake was a peasant like us, overpowered by Baldoni and team, I get it, I would side with her
    But Blake on her own (her family) is well connected and known in Hollywood, furthermore she's married to Ryan who is super wealthy and a heavy weight there
    So, no, I dont believe Blake...this is a power move from her side

      So you never heard about Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck both having to threaten to beat up Harvey Weinstein after he SH Gwyneth Paltrow. She comes from a Hollywood family and both of those men were still in the early stages of being successful.

      Common sense to realize this is a power move from the Lively/Renolds legal machine.

      @@Gigi-Anai8c7l she’s said multiple times that this isn’t a neutral channel and she will let her opinions be known. Not sure why you had a different idea.

      I don't necessarily agree with all of her opinions here - but she has no duty to be neutral. If you don't want to watch a creator that lets her opinion be known (and gives you the courtesy of telling you of their bias), then watch someone else. It's that simple.

    I hope that Blake Lively wins this hands down! I commend her for defending professional conduct in the movie industry. We need more people like Blake to stop this madness in Hollywood.

      Where was her professional conduct prior to initial shooting? Why weren’t these things laid out for safety and protection? She was a co-producer after all. Motive for creative control to make demands midway through threatening not to return to set unless they were met. rookie producer move on her part.

      @Juliette_4 💯 exactly ... every single industry requires constant monitoring to ensure standards ... Ms. Lively is able to be part of that, being from a entertainment industry family and not struggling financially ...
