Hi, I've been watching quite a few of your videos and I really wanted to thank you. You seem so passionate and excited about doing what you love, it's contagious ! I really want to become a working actress and go to drama school in London. It's time for me to start being active towards these goals, so it's sometimes (sometimes ? who am I kidding VERY OFTEN ) scary and I have doubts. But being able to relate to you is really motivating because you show me how worth it it is to follow what you really want because you seem so happy and excited about living your dreams ! Which makes me want nothing less from life :)
Ahhhhhh exciting plans!!! And also your application for German musicals! Makes me excited! I‘d definitely come and watch. And Germany has various musical theatre schools/courses. Many of them are part of a regular university, so you might be right with saying there‘s only one „real“ school 😄 but I‘d say the educations offered at a „real“ university are better nevertheless. At least that’s what I‘ve heard. Excited for the outcome! ✨
These are great goals!! I could totally imagine you as Nessa. One goal of mine this year is to book a guest star role on a major streaming or network TV show (I’m an actor in Hollywood)!

@@SheLivesHerDream Sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, when it comes to applications in general, Hamburg is pretty bad in it in terms of answering quickly etc. I send so many applications for different jobs, sometimes never got an answer. Sometimes after 6 weeks or even more. But never give up! :)

I didn't know German was your first language! I would love to see you in a show here! (But honestly, the german casting is really f*cked up, they always take the same performers regardless of them being fit for the role...Like for the Robin Hood musical they are doing soon, the cast three completely different guys as Robin - one was Aladdin in Hamburg for years and the other one did Fieyro, Krolock (Tanz der Vampire) and Tod (Elisabeth)...I do cross my fingers for you in Germany, but it's so hard to get cast here) (if that is something that interests you, then go listen to the Und bitte Podcast which two german Musical Theater performers talk about the same people getting cast and the german theaters closing, and reasons for that)

I lived there for a very long time as a child. And oh no! That is ridiculous! I didn’t get invited to audition for Mamma Mia or Frozen. I’m still waiting to hear back from Wicked. But not gonna lie, my hopes are not very high anymore. I just wonder why or how to get invited then…
@@SheLivesHerDream I will check the video out now! And their theory was that you had to train at the Stage school (which is closed down) or you need to know someone at Stage to get invited. Or you had to be an extremely talented dancer, because that's usually their first round. But like I said crossing my fingers for you (and if you get cast, I'll drive the 400km to see Wicked!)
@@SheLivesHerDream okay I guess I put it a bit wrong - I meant the school from "Stage Entertainment" Joop van den Ende (or something) which closed in 2016. Everyone who went there also played directly in a Stage Entertainment production.

Where in Germany? Did you apply in Hamburg? Because Frozen just came to our city.
Alex Bollich I applied for Frozen in Hamburg! But they didn’t even invite me to the audition 🙁 Nor did any of the other shows.
