Nice video - I haven’t been in Ireland since 2019, but I’ve still got €7.23 on my Leap card! Luas certainly makes it easier to get between Connolly and Heuston stations - I remember on my first visit to Dublin I was walking along the quays and asked an old man the way to Heuston, and I got the reply “Sure now, d’ye mean Amiens Street or Kingsbridge?”, just as well I’d been at Connolly earlier that day and noticed it was on Amiens St! (This was only 16 years after all the stations were renamed in 1966!).

The Luas has been an absolute game changer. And yes, that journey across Dublin to connect lines is so much easier now. Many thanks for watching.

Good old Luas! Whenever I’m in Dublin I use it when I’m feeling lazy 😂🎉 the green line uses some old railway alignment from the old broadstone and harcourt street terminus stations. You can see evidence of it from Google maps

I didn’t know that, not being a Dub myself! I must have a look at the map - thanks so much for watching.

Very interesting Greg. I didn't know Luas meant speed in Irish. Yes they are handsome things, I saw them when I was in Dublin but never went on one. One day maybe lol.

As long as the pub is along the route of course! The one limitation of a tram system!

Nice video but the sound mix is crazy - your narration is too low and the music being pumped up in between (as nice as it is) is OTT.

Cheers Arcadia, I’ll have my team of sound engineers address that 😉. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it, despite the sound issues.
