Beautiful car, timeless design outside and inside. I had silver (1.6 TRS MK1) and white (1,9 GTI MK2). Would buy it again if I could find the place to keep it near to my Xantia and XM. Btw, fugly back spoiler.
That waht you consider "normal height" is actually the intermediate - you are losing a lot of suspension performance, adjust configuration to the original and you will love your BX even more!
Lowest position is for stop, second is for normal driving. Third is little bit higher than the second one, good for shittier roads and bumps. 4th is the highest, only for and obstacle passing, very low speed!
@@AutumnWind92 highest setting for changing wheels aswell- don't forget handbrake is on the front wheels... but you wouldn't want to do more than 5 mph in the highest setting to be honest..
@@kempaswe4022 Never had any issue while driving Citroen's cars with hydractive or hydropneumatic suspension since the GS until the C5 and still driving a 19 year old Citroen C5 with exactly the same factory Hydractive suspension.
@@asthalis Je crois que c est comme sur la Xantia et CX. Les petites plaquettes a l avant ont du mal a toucher les disques quand ceux ci sont uses. Il y a des exentriques a resserrer.

yah, he's got a phase 2 rear spoiler on, but the bumpers are phase 1.

You can't drive a citroen in the lowest or highest settings. Highest setting is a service setting

@@iainansell5930 yeah, I think it's mostly for changing wheels. I wouldn't move the car in 4th at all, even if it's possible. 3rd is more than enough.
No need to rev the engine to achieve normal ride height.
