Very interesting on the "powder keg" effect. This is indeed very possible. Philippines knows that Taiwan has the same claims as China. However, Taiwan is a lawful and a decent neighbor, despite being a better economy and military. I can say with confidence that Philippines will be an ally to Taiwan, specially having opened several US bases at the height of China - Taiwan tensions.
Philippines protecting her own territories also means upholding the rule of law of the seas and freedom of travel and trade especially in the water passage where trillions of dollars of goods meant trillions of dollars worth of livelihoods are involved. As much as Philippines can not tolerate China's land grabbing misadventures, the world should never tolerate them either trying to control the water passage where our livelihoods depend upon.
To China the Philippines will not ever ever step down or now down to china. War is not a problem to us we have been in this situation ever since an occupation or invasion will come to the Philippines.
China should not insists on its own unilateral 10-line claim. It has no legal and historical basis. China want to enforce this territorial claim they invented which is too excessive and not recognized by all countries around the world. The Philippines is not claiming the entire SCS but only fighting for their 200 mile Exclusive Economic Zone which is otherwise known as WPS and it is in accordance with the UNCLOS.
China is guarding and enforcing sovereignty over the islands, shoals and reefs in South China Sea because Philippines constantly tries to take them. The Philippines currently occupies 11 islands, shoals, etc., in South China Sea. These were originally under Republic of China/Taiwan’s administration. They were seized by Philippines from ROC/Taiwan when it was too weak to defend from Philippines and pressure from the US. For example, Philippines seized Taiwan’s Zhongye Dao/Thitu Island during a storm when Taiwan’s troop temporarily relocated to nearby Taiping Island for safety. Philippines keeps trying to take Huangyan Island/Scarborough Shoal and Rén'ài Reef/Second Thomas Shoal by purposely shipwrecking the Sierra Madre as an outpost, and tries to transport construction material to the illegally shipwrecked Sierra Madre for reinforcement on-site or near it. China is guarding them and enforcing sovereignty over them because Philippines constantly tries to steal them.

The Philippines was a Spanish and then US colony. They set its boundaries but did not include any islands in the South China Sea as they knew the islands belonged to China. But later due to navigation improvement, they could reach far into SCS so wanted to annex the islands and denied their previous admittance that the islands belonged to China.
@@jmgonzales7701 Ancient Chinese lived on the islands of South China Sea. Their relics like temples, coins and china artifacts were found there. These relics are ancient Chinese because at their same time, no other countries reached the same smelting or porcelain making skills. Only China could do that. China owns the 9 dash area of SCS. UN and most countries admit this truth. For example, it was US warships that carried China soldiers cruising SCS in 1946 to declare China sovereignty over there. But later due to navigation improvement in other SCS countries, they wanted to annex SCS so they denied their previous admittance that the islands belonged to China.

Rail goods trains are a very efficient way of shipping from China to Europe, they are cheaper than air freight and take much less time to travel from China to Europe than sea freight (18-22 days)
The China rail freight to Europe is known as the Eurasian Continental Bridge. It is the longest railway line in the world, passing through Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland and Germany before reaching its final destination.

Both Taiwan and China claim SCS.
The original 11 dash line was drawn by the ROC government in 1946 inherited by the PRC Government 😅
inherited? stolen by Mao Zedong from Chiang Kai Shek. Now used by P R C for illegal claims.@@wionporky9937

Mabuhay Taiwan! the true ruler of Mainland China/West Taiwan
I love how they have analyzed the situations. And how they emphasized China as a troublemaker and peace destabilizer.
Military age males should all be drafted. Strength in numbers.
China has no map of its claim. We do
@@jmgonzales7701 Ancient Chinese lived on the islands of South China Sea.
Show proof, if no proof then leave our islands. Ancient Chinese maps show only Hainan as part of their islands. Mongols captured China so maybe Mongolia showed say China land is there’s.
