- WEEEEE'RE BAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!! \m/
Metallica's ''The Frayed Ends Of Sanity'' from the album ''...And Justice For All'' (1988) as if it was recorded in 1991, for the album ''Metallica'' (a.k.a. The Black Album).
Guitars, bass & the middle section vocal parts were recorded by us, drums were programmed by us with Hydrogen (The Drum Machine) using our BLACK ALBUM drum tone! All the other vocals put into the AI were from the original track using a Black Album AI Model (made by Hanzel Kyse)

Many have tried this one, it's pretty old now... We want to try a more innovative one! Do you have any ideas?
Huge Metallica fan and love AJFA but can honestly say Frayed Ends Of Sanity was not a favorite; not even a track that I seeked out to listen to over and over like One, Blackened, To Live Is To Let Die, ..And Justice, and Dyers Eve. So just IMHO but Frayed, Harvestor, Beholder, Straw are the filler / lesser tier tracks on the almighty AFJA. Now with your new Frayed Black I have been listenting to it everyday. Gets me so jacked for workouts. And late last night couldn't resist after watching this UA-cam video again to put on the headphones and go outside for a fistpumping stroll just to listen the the audio version (thankyou yt-dl) in the cool night air and subsequently slam a beer at the nearest establishment. Its just fucking motivating in more ways than one; this Frayed Black would be top tier on Black Album right up there with Sandman, SBT, Wherever, God That Failed, NEM. Keep at it ! Cannot wait to hear more of these 'lesser' Metallica tracks getting rejuvenated and the Black album Black Hole Noises production treatment :) Say what you will about the speed and less-heavy tracks on original Black but now we have Greenmile, Zoso, State of Mercury and Black Hole Noises to give us 'Black Justice' !! (and eagerly await other tracks from prev albums too Black'ified shout out to State of Mercury's Orion another kickass track). Jesus; what a long comment - might as well conclude this with a unique request: "Got the Life" Black'ifihetfieldification. Yes the Korn song but complete reproduction reimagining as if our boys released it as their own on Black. Sorry that's no small feat, just think it would be epic though. And happy to beta / QA test if u need for such an ambitious project, just reply or DM me if you decide to make a draft !!

Before I thought AJFA is the best sound, but started to change my mind that all the songs sound the best with Black production.

This great, but the guitar is a little to out front and dry for the black album tone. But still this is fun.

Like others say rhythm guitars are the weakest part of this recreation. IMO black album guitars has more gain but tighter and way back in the mix. Maybe quantity of tracks also matters.

@@MyganiteOFFICIAL We dont fully agree with that... We think a song needs to be shorter only when it's boring... If the song is an AMAZING piece of music, you could keep listening to it even if it was like 1hour long. After all, the length of songs on Black Album is about 4 and something minutes.... But we really get your point! Thank you for explaining us and hope you enjoyed it!

We tried to make it in the style of Black Album fast song (e.x. Through The Never). These songs are barely 4 minutes long. Plus the parts we cut were not so Black Album-ish... Anyways, sorry if you didn't like it...

@@BlackHoleNoises I think it sounds cool and I like it, but to me, the timings are jarring. Going from the complex way that Justice was done, to the more simple but heavy way Black Album was done, it does feel as if it is missing something. Now that said, this was well done, and I think it captures what a song like that would have sounded like in the the early 90's era of Metallica. So no shade against your work here, but I kinda get what they mean in the original comment.
