Many thanks.....it worked first time although I didn't get the "no command" screen, I just did the power + volume down buttons together and it came back on and went straight to my email. I have the Nexus 7 so maybe it works differently on newer models.
I didn’t get the ‘no command’ message with the green robot icon, so I couldn’t get beyond that as it just turned on at that stage. I tried it 5 times, and always the same result. So I’ve not been able to reset the device. 😒
I did everything that is required, such as your exact explanation, but the device returns after the form on Google, why do you have information about that?

is anyone else having this problem you may not realize it I had a cell with marshmallow then I bought a tablet with nugget I try to use the same apps that I instill from my list from my cell phone list and I could not download 95% of my list I call google they told me as long as it will say Android 4.04 and up it will work they told me call the manufacturer and manufacturer is blaming Google they can not do anything about it if I know I was limited too certain apps I would not have got it I'm sure a lot would not know they can not dose this if they do not realize it I do not know why it is set up differently than a cell that his nugget I know it's just not fair

You forget to chose 'wipe data factory reset' for hard reset, you just simply restarted the tablet.

After the No Commant bot image, the screen goes black and then restarts to the No Command bot image. Its not working
Once you get to the No command, just press the power button and the volume up command. If you are like me you have a new version of the OS.

It works until i get to the 'No command' bit. when i hold both buttons in it just turns off my tablet...
hold the power and up button for 3 seconds and then let go. Your holding the two buttons too long.
