hello, I have had pain in my abdominal area and around a my ribs for months And after going to multiple doctors my dermatologist was able to find one of the painful spots from my stomach and send it for biopsy, it came back being spindle cell melangioma. I have more of them and some are painful to touch. I am really afraid and not what type of doctor should I go to. can you please help and suggest what types of specialist I can go to get some more information about it and know what are my options? it is physically and mentally affecting me and no one really knows what this is.

So your pathology diagnosis is spindle cell hemangioma, correct? Did you discuss things with your dermatologist? They should be able to help you or refer you to a different doctor if they don’t feel that they are able to manage your situation. If you want a second opinion, an orthopedic oncologist would probably be a good choice. They specialize in treating bone and soft tissue cancers but they also treat benign bone and soft tissue tumors like spindle cell hemangioma. Best wishes for health and healing.

@@mkjro I was just diagnosed with the same! A large mass in my right thigh. MRI then ultrasound guided biopsy, then this diagnosis.
