What I notice is that when artists say they don't like an older drawing, it's actually really good because that means you've seen improvement. So cringing at past stuff is good...at least that's what I tell myself...Your sketchbook is beautiful FYI!
I have a practice book for my sketch book it’s pretty stupid and stuff but like my friends come over and look and say how they love the color placement but have no clue that I did and it in another book. So if I do an actual piece on canvas or paper for sale or portfolio no one knows I have pre done it in about 3-4 other books 😂😂😂

Sometimes you see sketchbooks on UA-cam that are too flawless with all perfectly finished pieces. I enjoy that yours is a good mix between spontaneous sketches and beautiful finished pieces.

you are the first person i see that leaves some pages white before like 'start' the sketchbook. I do that too and always thought i was the only person who did this :D When ppl ask me why i leave them white i say that if i mess up the first page the first impression of the book is crap, so if there are some pages before the crap i can still put something nice there ^^

They mostly show their pages or sketchbooks that succeed or use a sketchbook where fails are not allowed because they get shown to the people :/
