Subscribed with both my accounts, this channel is amazing, very informative and well explained. Checklist added on top for extra clarity. These videos couldn't be better in any way. Thank you so much for the effort!
Thanks for your clear and concise explanations. It is readily apparent that you have spent significant time preparing these tutorials and your efforts really show. I highly recommend your videos to anyone looking for a first class learning experience. Would love to see your subscription/viewer numbers soar.
Hey Zipper, thanks for the kind comment! Yeah it took a long time to really study and understand this aircraft but I feel a lot more confident flying it and I hope that my videos give other simmers that confidence. If you want to help me out, the best thing you can do is share my video links online if you think that other simmers would benefit from them :)
I want to thank you very much for this excellent video. Very in-dept and and well explained in a No rust matter. Best teacher on the net that I have seen so far. My hat's off to you Sir.
The best video i have ever seen , quality its excellent, by the way i trully believe that you are hiding, you are a captain ,probably 737, and doing this to have fun and help others, do not lie man!!!! rsrsrs
Great tutorial! I am coincident with many people that you have done a really nice work. More value here than many youtubers arround. I hope you get in some point a return of all this enforce. Best!
Really loving this series and the sheer time and effort you're putting into them. Even though I'm more inclined to Airbus i still feel I'm learning so much from these.
Cheers Paul, it was certainly a big step up from something like the Aerosoft Airbus but now I've learned the "Boeing Methodology"... it should make learning other aircraft like the 747, 777, 787 a lot easier.
Hello DOOFER911....just finished going through this tutorial. ALL OFF THEM ARE A1.....EXCELLENTE....Just a few questions ..... I supose that you did not need to activate the HGS...it would be complimentary, right..?.were can I get the program that you use to keep track of the check list and notes...??? ITS really helpfull and will eliminate a lot of manual page checking ...it is a NEED to keep order and track yur check list..Im ussing the Jeppesen charts....the page you sugest is out of line..best....wonderfull work...
+Doofer911 First, is that the base 737-800, or is it the 737-700 Expansion Package. Secondly, thanks for posting the 737 video series. I love your FSX videos. They’re really informative!
Yep certainly, I state this at the end of the final video but I need to go on and learn the specific actions for all those abnormal procedures/situations so the videos will take a little while to make. These first handful of videos are just aimed at getting people comfortable with the plane and getting them up and down in most situations.
Amazing tutorials with clarity in each step. Keep up the good work. I am facing one issue, whenever I prepare my approach and execute the route, it shows it on the nav but the plane does not turn, I am flying the same route as you EGKK-EGPE
Hi, this is my favorite channel I was learning the airbus family from you and it was amazing now I learn to fly the737 ngx and for sure you are the best guide to learn from. Can you solve my descent issue. the plane don't response the green dot not for reduce the speed to 250 know and the delay point what is my mistake? it was working but now I must change the speed Manuela Regards Avivps
Hi thanks for the comment. today I understand was my mistake . the speed was MCP speed and not FMC speed and I think that all about. I thought MCP is just for display Purpose only. one more question, if you please, the approach button don't turn on when I push it, the green light don't lit'. when I supposed engage the app phase? regards have a nice day Avivps
Yo doofer, I know this has nothing to do with the B737 but I was practicing the a320 yesterday before moving to the Boeing and when I reach the top of decent the plane seems to decent but when I almost reach the 10 k the plan then starts losing speed and levels off which makes it miss the perfect decent rate which leads to me being way above the run way . How do I fix that thank u ;)
It's something that Boeings and Airbuses do, what happens is during the initial descent, the aircraft is still flying quite fast, so just before 10,000ft, the aircraft levels off to reduce it's speed to less than 250kts (the international speed limit below 10,000ft). If that brings you above the ideal flight path, then extend the spoilers after you pass 10,000ft until you get back on the descent path :)
Boeing are so complicated, its so wasting our flightsim time, its like just taking 80% our eyes to flightplan than the flying instead. I mean its not hard, but we not on a mission right?, we're not payed for this flight :(

A lot of information added to my knowledge. I’m a 737 pilot but still watching your videos every time. Thanks for your efforts.
Glad to help!
Honestly i wanna say, thank you, this series has helped me a lot
Well thank YOU for watching the video! :)

Sadly I'm not, just an aviation and flight simulation enthusiast. Hoping to earn a PPL one day soon :)
you will!!!
Very good tutorial. Thank you very much for posting it.

Thanks 🙏🏽 I am converting from the good A320 to a 737 NG. To much work to do in the 737.

This is the Base Package, you get the 737-800 and the 737-900 variants :)
Doofer911 Cool. I have both!
Amazing, as always
Thanks Farid, glad you liked the video :)
Nice one, Doofer! Will you be tackling abnormal procedures e.g. go-arounds and different approach types e.g. VOR/DME in the future?

Fantastic tutorial. Keep it coming.
Last couple of procedure guides should be out this week :)

Do you have LNAV and VNAV selected and CMD A or B selected?
@@Doofer911 Yes, the first thing I check are those. I think I don't how to plan the approach. Thanks for replying
Really a very nice informative video.
I'm glad you liked it, thanks for watching! :)
Love your videos!!!!!! Always
Thanks again for watching! Wait till you see the landing! ;)
That's the thing I am waiting for eagerly :)
Great video. question how far into the flight do you start to put in the arrival runway in the fmc
I normally start preparing for arrival about 1 hour before I'm due to land.

Does the AutoThrottle work during all other phases of flight?

Dear doofer 911 can i use a jeppesen charts for this tutorial because i only use jeppesen charts
Yeah any and all airport charts are fine
@@Doofer911 ok doofer 911 thanks :)
how did you set vnav pth ? When i set the autopilot it always writes vnav spd in pfd
I would encourage everyone to subscribe and check the full "Playlist" for this pmdg 737 tutorial.
Nice
Game name ?

No Des Path after XXXXX what do I do :(
What happened?
38:49 “The minimums are 209 knots”...
Slip of the tongue, happens to everyone
Doofer911 Yh, understandable
