The all metal mode you mentioned is a non motion discrimination and tone ID mode which is excellent really as the all metal non motion mode can discriminate deep non ferrous targets like deep large silver gold etc deeper than most other detectors on the market. Worth a demo showing that. An increasing tone indicates a non ferrous target and a decrease in tone a ferrous target. Using this search option you would swing the coil above the ground about 5 to 7 inches as you sweep meaning not your usual sweep height :) good vid

Thery all metal mode is program seven 7 ... for deep and large obgect.. thery exellent program for reserc cannon ball

It's not heavy at all. And it's well ballanced
D2 doesnt have dual mode. I still miss that on my D2, coming from the Rutus Alter 71.
