Some quick notes. When Malphas charges at you, using DT will either stagger or knock her down with the right timing. Using rawhide to snatch while shes staggered in any sort of way will make nero pull them down. Malphas can sometimes escape her downed state with screaming. Not sure what causes this. On rare occasions on DMD she will tank 3 punch lines and whatever else without being interrupted during her long spell. Most likely her DT messing with the hit stun chance for interrupting. You can snatch at the portal Malphas summons to pull yourself next to her through the portal.
@@spardadante6295 yeah, I find its easier to control alot of the enemies in this stage with the color up shots over the charge shots. The antorias, judeccas, chaos, ect. Malphas might actually be a good time to use the charge shot, but I havent tested it much as far as stunning her goes. I know color up works well enough, so I just stuck with it here. Since this is also one of those stages that likes to cheap you in points, no charge shot also makes the fights take a bit longer, so you can style more.
@@conqvistguides7313 You reckon it would have been objectively better if they had made it so that you only had to hold the button down until the blue rose was loaded and then you could let go of the button without shooting the Colour Up shot, and you'd only keep the button held down for even longer if you wanted to do Charge Shot? I just don't think it was a good idea to make Colour Up and Charge Shot the same button input since they are completely different moves with different functions, and the way i just suggested probably gets rid of that problem without having to sell Charge Shot like you did

your control is crazy I'm a newbie (DMC5 is my first DMC in my life) I always have great difficulty jumping and finding my way. Every time that happens, I watch clear videos uploaded to UA-cam. All of them show transcendental levels of control, so I can't possibly follow them. LAMO
@@Chaoblahippo Yeah, area. Specifically how much platforming sucks in DMC games. The enemies are honestly fine, even if they can get weird when they wind up in different spots, and when the music constantly comes in and out due to platforming close and away from them.

@@kaiden6470 I believe they do, you might not get as much on normal enemies because its possible a long combo would give more points than 1 break age buster. But the buster breakage does give you a nice amount on its own as far as I know. Overture is good for points.
I shoot with R1, im jumping between all my shots to make it shoot faster. When im juggling enemies im just rapid jump canceling, alternating x and R1 really fast

Giving you less you have to deal with. Charge shot is probably better for malphas, but in this case I was like "eh, color up is fine." This is also a stage that likes to short you points, hence why I was skipping fights. Charge shot does really good damage but when you only have 3 enemies to style on, killing them quickly isnt the best thing for points. Break ages being the exception. (Or maybe not)
Yo I got a set up that makes it great without breakout. Put on you d pad.... my set is devil bringer on X,square to feel like dmc 4 nero. Blue rose is LT,L2 devil trigger is LB,L1.

You probably didnt get no damage and got hit by something you didnt notice. No damage can boost even a score as low as 2000 points into an S rank.

SSS for over half of the first fight and only 3.8k points. The only reason I hate the new style score system.

Its called a "stinger jump". just use stinger or in nero's case streak, at the edge of a ledge and you'll fly forward.
